That is a very cool folding technique! It’s like a t-shirt origami that turns into a really beautiful pattern. And as always, your color choices are on point!

Thanks! I definitely did not come up with this design tho. It’s been around since the 70’s

Thank you so much! I've read the one hour tie dye tutorial too, but didn't really understand if I got it right LOL. But you're video is so easy to understand. 🥰

You’re welcome! I’ve got another video on Ron stars planned showing some more tips from what I’ve learned. It’s won’t be the next video but probably the next video after so stay tuned.

@@SledgehammerTieDyes Ah until I saw this I didn't realize you were pushing cold water and hadn't used soda ash and then watched it again - very nice!

That came out awesome! One question, was the water you sprayed with hot as well, or room temp?
@SledgehammerTieDyes Жыл бұрын
It was cold water from the tap (filtered).

Hi Jason I love this shirt, so you didn't have to add soda ash to your dye mixture because you soaked in hot soda ash water at the end?

You got it!

Great tutorial but it's not a Ronstar. It's just a regular eight pointed star. With the Ronstar you're not folding the tip, you're folding the rest of the shirt and the fold goes back and forth not in the same direction every time.
