Great instruction. It’s so helpful to hear the “why” behind various decisions you make throughout the process. Thank you so much!

I like that neck/shoulder treatment in the folding. Always struggle with that, not that it's a problem, just looking for more definition!☮️♥️🌈

I can’t stand to watch this because every time he says “acrossed” I cringe. It’s ACROSS there is no “ed” in the end.

Thank you!! I am so happy you took the time on your videos. Your first upload and this one is everything I've been searching for. All the videos I have watched, listened to, and stored in a playlist over the years are nice, but you, my friend, are taking people's game to a whole other level. I certainly appreciate you! ~Love One 💫💞💫

Interesting piece of art, I’ve yet to do an ice method dye. What did you use to set your shirt into? Resemblance of a rain gutter?🙏🏼

Halo sir... How you mix you colour... With normal water or hot water? Wet or thick you colour?
@SledgehammerTieDyes5 ай бұрын
I use room temperature water to mix my dyes. I don’t usually thicken my dyes (especially for shirts like these) but I have done that with black dye for a final outer coat on scrunched areas.

Great video, ty ty! What happens if you go at an angle across the pleats instead of straight?

Try it
@SledgehammerTieDyes5 ай бұрын
While I will always agree with the “try it” attitude, I will say that it will give a more oval effect. It definitely could be a cool thing to do, but normally you would want to avoid that in mandalas to give it that more uniform look.

have you ever weighed how much dye powder you use? Thanks for showing the process! Your color combinations are really unique and interesting. Very inspiring!
@SledgehammerTieDyes7 ай бұрын
Thanks! No I haven’t weighed how much I use. It’s more of a visual thing. I just make sure there’s a decent coverage. I use more for dyes that don’t break for better coverage and a bit less for ones that do break to allow those breaks to manifest.

Your video and instructions were so easy to follow! I watch people use white sinew on white shirt and I cannot differentiate between the two (maybe poor lighting?). Even though you used white kite string on a white shirt it was still easy to see which was which. Your lighting was spot on. Thank you for making this easier to follow!
