he's a 10th dan Master, close to Danney Carreys' level which I consider the GOAT... equal to Vinnie I'd say...

Ronald Bruner jr Is the highest level ever reached in drumming. I don’t think you can get any better than him. He’s the GOAT
@JackHeslewood9 жыл бұрын
His playing demonstrates maturity. I'm not here to judge, I would be missing the point of being a musician if so. I doubt however that you could watch this video and not be inspired in some way. He is one of the reasons I, myself still play drums and believe in the freedom of expression. Technical skills like his phrasing and flam taps are incredible but the whole point is not to judge but to listen and let it take you! Go Ronald!

Every rudimentary shot in the book is here. Creative. Simple. Complex. So good; well timed; well developed, talented, detailed. Full range of rolls and the broadest band of beats rarely heard.

so much for all the drummers i thought were the best in the world. Ronald exceeds all ive ever seen and heard. INCREDIBLE, AMAZING.
@andrevanegasenterprises20392 жыл бұрын
Unlike most young players these days who can play with fiery rudimentary skills yet overplay, did I say overplay where you can’t tell one play from another all sounding the same .. however Ronald Bruner jr is the exception. He is what a drummer is supposed to be and does what a drummer is supposed to do! He is musical, expressive and never overplays. He only unleashes when asked .. incredible young player! Very inspiring!

This has to be one of the best solos I've ever seen. I've dismissed this guy in the past as just another gospel drummer w blazing chops but his playings pretty deep. Always coming from the groove..I hear alot of vinnie in here

To all the haters, you hear the crowd? That is his reward for playing his 'shit' solo. If the crowd loves it, it's a success for the night. Music moved the crowd so your argument is invalid

Roniaaroni Music doesn't care about how advanced your hand technique is, which is why no one in music besides drummers knows who Jojo Mayer is. You don't see him out there playing for actual artists, do you? For this reason I consider him a popular 'drummers drummer', but not really influential on the music scene.
