In the spring of 2005, law enforcement officials in southern Louisiana had a growing number of murder victims they had begun to suspect were connected to an unidentified serial killer operating in the area. The victims were all men, mostly in their twenties and thirties, many had histories of drug and alcohol abuse or were known to police as sex-workers, and all had been strangled and dumped in secondary locations.
Over the course of a decade, Ronald Dominique developed into one of the worst and most prolific serial killers in American history; yet his story and those of his victims remains largely unknown and ignored by the mainstream media.

I’ve always enjoyed your podcast but as a black woman I really appreciate the genuine care & disdain shown towards the victims case being mishandled by officials. You both are so good at what you do, keep it up!

For some reason, Ronnie’s time as a deli worker in the late 90s at a Chevron truck stop in Des Allemands, LA (St. Charles Parish) is never mentioned in any media covering the case. I was a coworker and gave him rides home from work to his mother’s house. His mother had recently married my godfather, so I’m assuming that’s why he never attempted to kill me when we were alone in the car. 🤷🏻‍♂️ He was an odd guy, super cheerful and flamboyant one day and withdrawn and lost in thought the next. I’m assuming those sullen days were the days he had just killed someone.

You did great with pronunciation! I'm from Houma, LA. Only town name that wasn't quite right was Luling (Lu-Ling). Thank you so much for covering this case because it still haunts Houma. I know many individuals that were affected because of this man. There is a show that was recorded recently also and so many of my friends were interviewed. Thank you again.

This is the area my husband is from ❤❤ I'll be honest didn't even think there was an open gay community. BUT I thought you'd appreciate knowing the correct pronunciation of lulling, Lou Ling

Yall should do a story covering KI and King Von. I know a lot about it and the alleged nature of that story. It'd still be fun to hear you all talk about it. Be careful with that story tho

Just wondering where the info about this guy's not having relationships in his young adulthood comes from. "Incel" = involuntary, and with his background, it's not hard to see an expectation of disappointment.
