I see that many young football fans haven't even heard of Ronaldinho, and that's sad and weird. Ronaldinho is the only true football genius of all time born on this planet. The speed of reaction, the explosive sprints, the agility, the quick thinking, the orientation on the field, the impeccable technique and the desire to play out of love for the art of football make Ronaldinho unique in the history of football. When Messi made his debut in Barcelona's first team Ronaldinho was there, delighting the fans with the art of real football. I'm sure Ronaldinho was an example that Messi followed seriously. Even Messi's first goal for Barcelona was scored from a ball received from Ronaldinho. Short answer, Ronaldinho is the only absolute master wizard in the history of football.

Dinho was the man, he would go to R Madrid when he played for Barca, and the crowd would stand up when he touched the ball. Even though they HATED Barca. You made a comment about the kids watching him juggle the ball at 8:14 and may still remember it to this day bc Dinho was so incredible. Messi holds high regards on R10 and says openly how he learned to play his football as we know with him. Both players have similar playstyles: highly skilled, very smart positioning, ridiculous ball control, lots of flair, dribble-driven football and both dribble and control the ball very close to their feet (which makes so much harder to steal the ball).. that's the R10 school of football.
