What Gabby said here is nothing new. We all know Ronaldo has never contributed to defending or pressing in his career, he's always been the luxury spare man that needed others to carry him without the ball. But, this was a happy sacrifice all managers would make because he would return you 50+ goals a season on a regular basis. He also adapted his game after 2013 to become a goal poacher so his game is now just focused on goals. The problem now is, he is not going to give you anywhere near those numbers again, and his play style now means if he does not score, he doesn't provide you with anything and he is pretty much useless.
