I remember watching all of the matches by Ronnie here,, he was in the brink of elimination but he found that sweet "soft break" and he came back to win it all

They really should outlaw the shotclock, or make it longer so that we can see the most quality shots in pool
@richardcerritelli96573 жыл бұрын
Don't tell Earl that he wants your running around the table shooting as fast as you can the problem with making a no shot clock for making it longer it's just makes it boring some players take forever to shoot and it's hard to watch
@jamirimaj68803 жыл бұрын
@@richardcerritelli9657 That's why I said just make it longer. The point I'm making is the shotclock is just TOO FAST. Maybe 2 minutes is the sweet spot?
@thebestdiscgolfer2 жыл бұрын
I’d never thought about it but I totally agree with you. The 30 seconds isn’t long enough
@jamirimaj68802 жыл бұрын
@@thebestdiscgolfer It's really like the 24 second shot clock in basketball. Danny Biasone, the creator of it, only suggested 24 seconds because he noticed the games he liked best and it was around that number of seconds per possession that the game is enjoyable. 24 and not 25 only because it's divisible by the 12 minute period. It's really that simple.

What is soft break? Can someone pls explain. I just started watching about pool.
@sargentomor40193 жыл бұрын
@@FlukyChannel soft break its when almost no ball cross the other side of table. This days it's consider illegal break, 4 balls must cross the table. Just like Ralph breaks, that's how you must break this days
@chrollolucilfer8618 Жыл бұрын
He might even be a 2 time World Pool Champion had soft break is still legal. Too bad he lost to Yukio Akagariyama in 2012.

In long races, i dont see any reason to use the Alternate break format. Alternate break is only good for short matches, so the other player would have a chance to play and exhibit his game. But in long matches, there is no intuitive reason to impliment alternate break. Winners break is the best format in race to 17matches.

The dung masters at You Tube just keep piling it up.... Soon they will "treat" us to 1 minute of pool and 15 minutes of commercials - we will be forced to pay NOT to watch ads if we want to watch the games that were uninterrupted a year ago. The internet has surpassed cable TV in proctological commercialism
