Vielen Dank.

Honestly! I never knew the Scandinavian could be sooo enchanting! Time to explore in Summer, instead of sitting and enjoying the sun and a cold drink... my heart hungers to explore the North. I got to reach the Arctic Circle and Treriksroset... wild, wide and peaceful... so many lakes!

+MM Outdoor Thanks for watching and commenting my Video. You know, I've been watching your video about Rondane several times and long before I started my Trip in Norway. Rondane is a beautiful place. Nice to see a happy family there;-)

Thank you for your kind words. Well, our trip to Rondane during winter was fantastic. Most of the time snowshoeing, but several of prepared ski tracks, made it possible to go easily. We climbed knappet 1300moh. It was very windy and cold. Looking forward to see your future adventures. Shared your film on my twitter account. ATB. Morten.

I am preparing for a solo hiking trip through Rondane. While doing so, I saw other videos where they needed to wade through knee-deep water, and somtimes even fast-flowing rivers. Is that needed, is there a way to avoid the wading? (I don't want my leather boots to get all wet inside..). Thanks

We have just had a quick look at your Rondane video. It looks great and we are going to watch the full video later on the TV. We were in Foldall for Christmas 2010 and did some snow shoeing but not trekking. Would love to get back to Norway. In reply to your comment about our Mournes video, we use Panasonic FZ1000 and LX100 camera for the 4K video. I use a Pentax K5iis DSLR for the timelapse (I can pm with more details if you wish). For some reason I can't seem to be able to post a reply to your comment on our Mournes video so doing it here. Martin and Sharron

+martin critchley Hi Martin, thank you for your reply. I'm looking to buy a new camera and I'm grateful for every tip I get. Until now I filmed with a Canon Powershot G15. The cam is very light and the battery runtime is good. However I'm limited as to sound (no external micro) and focal length. I've seen in the meantime, that you have a lot more excellent videos. I'm planning my next trip to Norway in September. I want to visit Børgefjell, wich is probably 200 km northern of Trondheim. I've never been in Foldal, but it's not so far away from Trondheim.I've been in Irland longtime ago (1985). When I watch your videos I must say, that I should visit this country again. I currently use Adobe Premiere for editing the videos. May I ask you, what program do you use? Thanks and Kind regards from Bad Ragaz, SwitzerlandHeini

Gruss Heini

Hi Lukas, sorry for my late reply. I was there from 12. - 20.09.2015. The cabins have been closed already (exepted Rondvassbu). In October the fjell will be even more colorfull. But it can also be completely white;-) I had some snow on my trip.

Was würdest Du empfehlen? Gruss Reto

Hi, I went with the train from Oslo to Otta. From there with a taxi up to Mysusaeter where I started. The first cabin was Rondvassbu, the second Björnholia. From there I walked up the Langluppdalen to the Lake Bergedalstjönnin and back to Rondvassbu. On the map www.ut.no/kart/ you will find all the marked trails and cabins. There is a possibility to search for places. atb - Heini

Thanks for watching and your comment. In point of view weather it was my worst trekking trip I've ever done. The bad weather was starting when I entered Rondane and turned on the good side when I left it;-) The intense coulours of the nature in fall have been worth it to do it anyway. Probably I go back there once...
