Is that a tommy emmanuel signature on your guitar? You played with him or were you visiting his concert? i saw him in slovenia 2012 with stochelo and stefanovski in a project called king of strings. Awesome playing by the way, keep it up. Cheers!

Just so everyone knows, the bass part here is done with the thumb and index, with the melody being played with the other three fingers (rarely is the pinky used in classical guitar) using the P-I-M-A meathod. This technique is standard in American folk music (John Denver and Peter, Paul, And Mary are prime examples of the basic technique), as well as classica and spanish/flamenco styles of guitar in general.

+John Doe Not true, look his left hand.. he is clearly not playing the bass part. And yes, many guitar players do it, including tommy who signed his guitar. There are actually 2 other guitars playing this. one strumming, one bass, and this guy is doing the solo part.

Actually, when looking closely I see That the thumb is Alternating or on the same note, which is a dead giveaway of Travispicking. Not only this, but the melody in most parts doesn't reach low enough to cover the last three strings, even when written on the bass clef, in the first octave below middle C.
