⚡ 💀 💕 / 🔥 😱 🔥 This performance is my standard answer to anyone who says that BABYMETAL aren't metal. : ) Su has a unique penetrating clarity to her voice that makes it perfect for metal music. Without having to boost her volume she can still be clearly heard through the heavy drums, bass and guitars. That six stringed bass is made by Atelier Z for BOH. Full title of the instrumental is 'Mischiefs of Metal Gods'. Su had three solos at that concert. 'Akatsuki' and 'No Rain, No Rainbow' were the other two. Yui and Moa (as Black BABYMETAL) had two songs without Su that night. They were 'Onedari Daisakusen' and '4 no Uta' (Song 4)

I love this song, it's one of my favourites! And a stunning performance by every single person on stage. BABYMETAL have a few songs that Su performs on her own, and also a few that the other two perform as a duo. That way they can take a breather from their dance routines from time to time. Just so you know, "No Rain, No Rainbow" is a ballad and another Su solo (not trying to talk you out of it, it's a great song).

The Intro isn't actually part of the song, it's called 'Mischief of Metal Gods' and it has various versions depend on what song play next.

even got approved by Mike Portnoy (source: twitter.com/mikeportnoy/status/814239777998458880 ) and yeah, if you go TotD, you should do the combo with "The One" from the tokyodome pro shot, not a compilation! www.dailymotion.com/video/x5ggoil it's pretty long and you won't be able to include either video nor audio, cause it'll get striked 100% so, best alternative is to go for a link&sync option! Yeah, Babymetal can still surprise ! ;-) I think the advantage of the 360 stage: more people get to sit/stand at the front, but you might be facing the back of the artist some of the time. :-) Seems all the other comments already explained, suggested, etc. most of what I wanted to mention.

This song is about her having an endless nightmare of something chasing her in a forest at night under the moonlight but she can't see it and doesn't know what it is so she asks it to show her its figure if she can't get out of there

Contrary to popular beliefs, Babymetal does touch on dark themes within their music. This song is about fighting depression, and how it can seem like you're always trapped in an infinite nightmare.

I think you should definitely check out either Onedari daisakusen, GJ or Sis Anger! It's the duo songs for Yui and Moa (the other two). Su is metal as fuck, but so are the other two!! So metal that their duo name is Black BabyMetal!

Has anyone suggested that you give an all Japanese band called "Aldious" a listen? Since you seem to like the more metal like songs by Babymetal, Aldious are the ones that started this new wave of great female bands coming out of Japan. I think most songs by Babymetal are pretty metal, but I would suggest "Go Away" just to start with by Aldious. kzbin.info/www/bejne/e6Cbapt7f5elqa8 They are currently looking for a new lead singer as Re:No had to step away for medical reasons after giving them 6+ years.

this is one of their best songs, I think it's some kind of "evil waltz", I love it. and it's a million times better live. the studio version sounds awful, too overproduced and mixed so horribly everything sounds like a "SHHHHHHHH" white noise. the live versions are great because you can actually understand what the instruments are playing, and her live vocals are always better than the studio processed vocals. she's amazing here, and the guys in the band are awesome too. the melody is good, the drums are insane, the whole dark atmosphere is cool, this thing is a masterpiece. do akatsuki, amore or tales of the destinies next.
