Empresses in the Palace as well. I'm gonna try watching The lomgest Day in Chang'an next. 😊 Yanxi Palace was nice too, but...mmmm, less historical in vibes and more drama drama. The empress was so pretty, too. Wei Yinglou cracked me up, though 🎉 I guess I love the subtlety of these kinds of films. It makes the emotions really really STING. The first time I watched it, I was soooo angry. I know it defers from the novels, but I was still so angry with Hongli 😤☠️ I wish Rongpei slapped him at least once 😂 If you have any recommendations, please let me know 🎉
