The bass player is Ren's friend/assistant Kai - he did a great job. Ren has joked that he won't let him in any more of his videos because he looked too cool ! The backing singers were Sylvia Mwenze and Scarlett Fae - I thought they were brilliant. They only had two hours to shoot the video in a cramped corner of a pub in Brighton - the decor was fantastic. The whole thing, from original concept to "in the can", took just 10 days. Incredible teamwork !

He actually put the whole thing to gether in just a handful of days. He had a week off from his treatment and was back in the UK. He decided to try to put something together. He wrote/arranged the music, got hold of his friend, Kai, to play bass and recruited 2 local girls as backing singers. He managed to persuade one of his local pubs, in Brighton, to let him have the bar, but only for 2 hours. Ren set up all the audio, went through the piece with Kai and the girls a few times, then they recorded it live and, as usual, in a one take! Then it was back to Canada, to continue his treatment! There's no one quite like Ren! lol. His voice was golden here! Most people focus on the backing singers. Partly because they were really good, partly because the camera focused on them too. However, every time they're singing, so is Ren. Weaving his voice in and out and around theirs, expertly and beautifully! It really is quite a performance from Ren! His cheekiness and cockiness were in full flow, his guitar playing was on point, he looked great and, once again, his voice! His whole performance was first-class! In every respect! :)

Well Roni, Ren just announced in Knox Hills interview with him yesterday that he plans on staying in Canada until July, then to the UK to visit, and then he is MOVING to L.A.! Says it's time to take over America, so hell yes, along with mentioning his new song, Troubles, will be out May 6th I believe, and his new album, Slaughterhouse, will be dropping soon after. So yes dear, lots of great Ren-related stuff coming, along with our boy moving stateside so you can stalk him properly. Happy hunting. You're adorable watching him. Never lose that.

He said he is moving in the Northern region of the US. He wants to be a 2-hour flight from Calgary Medical clinic because he will still need to go there off and on. So that is looking more like Washington or Oregon. Possibly Montana, Idaho but there is really no music /scene or industry in those states. Some in Portland and Seattle. He probably wants to be a 2 hour or so flight from LA, California as well. Likely lots of visits to LA as well. But being close to the treatment center in Calgary is his priority. It's a specialty holistic/natural clinic that are doing experimental treatments that are specific for him. He trusts it.

He went there to visit for his birthday and then drove over to Connecticut to shoot a video with Chris Webby. His treatment is near the west coast in Calgary, Canada. He wants to be within a 2-hr flight of it and ab2-hr flight to LA to finish his album and other business. He was thinking Washington or Oregon. Each is around a 2- hr flight. But we shall see in August when he moves.

This is by far one of my most favorite reactions of yours!! The way you giggled and blushed, but truly loved the song too, was so fun to watch, and refreshing compared to a lot of reactors out there. I've thought this for a while, but always hesitated to say it, because people sometimes don't like being compared to celebs or characters, but I'm gonna burst if I don't say it....Monica, from Friends!!! There, I said it. You need to know that comes from a very good and complimentary place though. Many moons ago, when I wore a younger mans clothes, Monica was my "it" girl, on my "it" TV sitcom, hell, I had a crush on her when I didn't even know her name, when Courtney Cox had a cameo in Bruce Springsteen's video "Born In The USA". Anyway, it's not that you look exactly like her, or anything, I always loved the character Monica, not only was she adorably cute, smart and sexy, (which you have that too, don't even get me started 😍😍) but I LOVED the juxtaposition of her life circumstances, especially in the early seasons of the show. Like she was just on the edge of holding everything together, and losing control of her life at any second, mixed with her OCD and need for order and a plan for everything, mixed with a big giant heart and so much love for all the people in her life she cared about. And I just get that vibe from you, so please don't take it as an insult, I rarely compliment people comparing them to a character I hold near n dear to my heart.
