This song was written by Peter Beckett the lead singer of the hit BABY COME BACK. Beckett sang" After all this time" in 1988 in his duo/group THINK OUT LOUD. This version with Ronn singing was on Players 5th album 1996-97 album/CD LOST IN REALITY plus Beckett is in the band playing guitar right behind Ronn Moss with this house band.

@Kim Lambert Player was originally J.C Crowley , Peter Beckett, Ronn Moss and drummer John Frieson. The band was actually formed and started by J.C and Peter, who together wrote "BABY COME BACK" . Ronn Moss and John Frieson knew each other since high school were brought in to join J.C and Peter by Players original producer/manager Paul Palmer. That's how the band originated. Player was not a one hit wonder. Yes, Beckett sang the verses on BABY COME BACK, but it was Crowley who sang lead on "THIS TIME IM IN IT FOR LOVE" their second top 10 single . Moss sang only one song 🎵 on their 1st album PLAYER called "TRYIN ' TO WRITE HIT SONG." Moss never lead another song in PLAYER until they released their 5th album in 1996-97 titled LOST IN REALITY. The song in the video clip is one of 3 songs Moss sang on that album. Player released 4 albums from 1978 to 1982. Crowley left Player after the 2nd album DANGER ZONE and crossed over to country music 🎶. He had a few songs as soundtracks in 1988 on Clint Eastwoods movie PINK CADILLAC. He also beat throat cancer from 1994 to 1999. Ronn Moss left Player after the third album ROOM WITH A VIEW in 1981 to become yes an actor. Beckett and Frieson two original members replaced Moss with Rusty Buchanan on bass for 1981-82 album SPIES OF LIFE . Beckett was the only lead singer on ROOM WITH A VIEW and SPIES OF LIFE. Also Ronn Moss sued Peter Beckett in 2018 over Beckett trying to steal the bands trademark for himself. Beckett also had pushed Moss out of the band by using a substitute bass player behind Moss ' back by continuing to perform concerts without telling Moss. They're not together anymore but they perform separately. The judge sided with Moss but both parties agreed to perform separately as "PETER BECKETTS-PLAYER " and "RONN MOSS' -PLAYER". Becketts jealousy and greed towards Moss resulted in the separation. PERMANENTLY. Sorry to be so long winded.

He even grew up around celebrities because of his father's career as a movie director/producer . Most dont get it, it's who you are. Ridge fell in love with Caroline cause she was so loving and giving. She proved her love for him when she married him despite what her dad said. As for Taylor he fell in love with her because she was also very loving and giving, she wouldnt just say yes when he proposed to her the first time. He had to prove to her that it was her he loved and wanted to be with. She made him want to be a better person and he was with her. Brooke may have him now but he is who he is today because of Caroline and Taylot. They made him want to be a better person. Taylor taught him what true committment is. Brooke is reaping the benefits. Truth is if he hadnt met and fell for Taylor he wouldnt be who he is today.

Re-cast Ridge? Gee, I don't know if the fans will like that. I mean no one else has ever played Ridge, except for Lane Davies but only as a temporary replacement because Ronn Moss was ill. When the character has been played by the same actor for 25 years, it's hard for viewers to look at or accept a new actor playing them. I don't know if there's someone else that can capture Ridge's character like Ronn Moss.

Also the guy in the clip next to him on guitar was Peter Beckett who wrote the song Ronn was singing. Peter Beckett was the lead singer and co-writer of BABY COME BACK. A new version of BABY COME BACK was also on their LOST IN REALITY album at the time. But the song AFTER ALL THIS TIME on this clip is definitely sung by Ronn.
