Ronna was a very talented, beautiful lady who should have gotten far more acclaim than she received.

Ronna I personally think you could’ve gone so much farther. You have terrific songs and a fantastic voice and sound. You are in my eyes by far one of the best in the business. I would pay anything to see you. More talent than a lot of the current female sings even today❤️❤️❤️❤️

I agree her record company didn't do a great job at promoting her I believe she would've been one of the best artists of the 90s she's still one of my favorites

This is what I like - 90's female country had some awesome , underrated talent out there - Joy Lynn White , Dawn Sears as well as Ronna and many , many others .

OK, this song touches many of us. Even us old guys. Yeah, we too have feelings. So, having said that, I just wanna say that my heart is also aching for someone in the past. That's all.

I met Ronna first in the summer of 1993 and kept up with her for about 2 years. Back then, I had heard she was in Nashvile..maybe soing some writing. I just saw on the web that Gary and Rene Laughlin who ran theri fan club still have a Midland, TX address and will try contacting them. I liked Ronna for just her balladeer voice with no country twang,

I went to jr high school with her in San Angelo, TX 1979-80. She has a great voice. I believe she went to pop music saying she had been forced into doing country and is now doing things her way. She had many good songs from her first 2 albums also.

It wouldn't be enough to say that Ronna Reeves is underrated. That word is just too weak. She never got all the ratings she deserved, and she deserved at least a million of them. She still does to this day!

I don't think her voice is thin at all...I love it...

she is under-rated.

It's obvious that the main reason Ronna went pop was because country radio refused to play her music. I don't believe she really was "forced" to sing country; I think she needed a reason to justify why she was abandoning it. Her voice is actually much more suited to country than pop, though I love her pop album, too. She now runs a song plugging and writer management firm in Nashville. Sad that she never again wants to make music, and has opted for the other side of the business.

Ronna Reeves had one thing that Shania Twain never had on her side and that is a leagendary last name in country music made so by the man that was said to be Ronnas Grandfather and that is one thing Shania or any of even the newer ladies can say.

Hi...how are you?
@kisscatastrophe15 жыл бұрын
Ronna is gorgeous and always picked great songs but in my honest opinion she was never going to be anything more than a standout on the statler brothers hour. she simply never had the voice to compete with Patty Loveless, Trisha Yearwood, and certainly can't compare with those of today, Jo Dee Messina, Faith Hill, etc. she just has too thin and shaky a voice. which was made even more evident by the two horrible rock albums she did when her country career ended.
@williamrodriquez14332 жыл бұрын
Disagree, she may not have Trishas voice, but is comparable to a Pam Tillis, seen both live. BOTH are very undrarrated vocalists and belt out songs from the heart !
