Have to say I really enjoyed this one. Considering the players are 9 and 10 years old there was some cracking football being played here. That second goal was, to be honest, a cracking shot. Don’t beat yourself up too much Ronnie. I could see you were having a tough time of it and that you were frustrated. I think you did very well. Yes the second half was a better performance for you. And yes, it must have been difficult for a ten year old boy to be a goalkeeper in those larger than usual nets. But … it’s all great experience for you. Like you said, you can’t played perfectly every time. You are an amazingly talented boy when it comes to goalkeeping. 👍 Finally, I loved the little match debrief you gave us at the end when you walked about with your GoPro, giving us your verdict of the match. He needs to understand that like in USA 10 year olds are expected to play on 9v9 nets so he needs to know that they are other keepers that have those nets all the time 7-9 years old have 7 v 7 nets 10- 11 years old have 9v9 12 years old up have the max goals So he needs to understand that they may be other keepers that have way more difficulty them him And our 9v9 nets are still bigger then those

Leeds United academy get my under 7 son who's 6 play in 9 a side nets and he does rather well if not better in them, because it forces him to put the footwork in to get across or else you're getting no where near it actually think he does better in the 9 a side most of the time
