Very interesting the way Ronnie explains what a great working relationship him and Iommi have when it comes to writing new material and songs. No wonder they've had so many fantastic songs over the years , especially on the: Heaven & Hell, Mob Rules, and Dehumanizer albums. I think I vaguely remember Vinnie Appice saying something like there were a few good songs on the Devil You Know album, but most of the songs on there were'nt really great songs like on the other three albums they did in the past. And Vinnie said something like he hoped they would do another album after the Devil you know album, because he felt it would be something really fantastic like the other three previous albums were. I definitely agree with that too. Dehumanizer was by far my favorite album that they did with Dio. And the songs on the Devil you know just didn't do much for me compared to the other 3 albums. But any songs that Dio did with Iommi are 100% better than anything Ozzy ever did with the band. Ozzys voice is absolutely pathetic, a joke. He has the worst, weakest voice of any singer Black Sabbath EVER had. Just listen to Ozzys voice on this more recent Black Sabbath concert with him and honestly tell me if you think he has a good voice (from a 2016 concert) kzbin.info/www/bejne/bWrcdn2MoJx2eqc Dio had a better voice than Ozzy even right up until less than a year before he died from stomach cancer: (on August 29th, 2009) kzbin.info/www/bejne/np_MkqKrmZacj7M

Dude, Dio is and will aways be number 1, but don't thrash on Ozzy. His voice was weird, we could agree on that, but pathetic ? Certainly not. No other than him could have sung Black Sabbath, War Pigs, N.I.B, Electric Funeral, all those absolutely awesome Black Sabbath tracks, carried partly by a feeling only Ozzy is able to give with his voice. How could people thrash talk on Ozzy so much, it desperates me. Seriously. Of course he had drugs problems, of course he was not an athlete at all, which is why (to take from what Dio says in the interview up there) he didn't stay on a good level, and was quite rapidly unable to sing on scene. But seriously, how could you deny the importance of the guy in the history of metal, and the importance of his voice in the first Black Sabbath albums ? It mind blows me. There are recordings of concerts out there where Dio sings War Pigs for example. You'll see how weird it feels. It just doesn't fit, with all my respect to Dio, who is my personnal favorite forever. But Ozzy really had his thing, and no other one could ever sing those tracks. WHAT IS THIS THAT STANDS BEFORE ME...? Dude how could anyone sing this without Ozzy's voice seriously

Does anyone know if Dio ever recorded any unreleased tracks for Magica II or III? and Is his book ever going to be published or was it never even finished?
@anthonybasileo951110 жыл бұрын
There is a song called Electra, which is on the Magica Deluxe Edition, that was intended to be on Magica II. Supposedly that was his last official recording. As far as his book, no one really knows.
