Hi Ronnie and Mel.. Sister Elizabeth from PC FLORIDA.. Awesome video! Blessed by your teaching tonight.. So, glad to see you two are well.. ABBA bless you both and OPEN a "WIDER DOOR" of influence in the Holy Spirit, through this dating and boundaries series of teachings.. Boundaries are missing in today's world.."God centerness"..is missing in today's world..what a wonderful way to make a difference one person at a time! If we all had "boundaries in place" before and during dating.. MARRIAGES would be as He intended...our Father intended them to be.."Christ centered." One out of two Christian marriages end in divorce..That is a sad statistic I read about a few years back.. Today, praise God...that is changing.. I know God had a plan for you two to do this important ministry.. He has to set "crooked paths straight"..and reconcile broken hearts and mend relationships and help singles guard their hearts during dating to prepare Saints entering into marriage. This is a HUGE DOOR..A HUGE AREA OF INFLUENCE for you both.. AS WELL AS THE Minstry for the YOUTH..THE YOUTH NEED THESE boundaries too. You should write a BOOK on dating boundaries and with an emphasis on holiness and purity before God. It would reach millions of believers that need help..and the tools for success in this struggling area.. Love to you both. REST in His peace..His loving embrace..

+Lion Tribe of Judah I want to meet you someday, Elizabeth! You are constantly such a breath of fresh air and an encouragement for us! Thank you for always giving us strength to continue on! It means more than you know. And we actually knew in our dating season that we weren’t just staying pure for the Lord and for us, but for a young generation behind us that needed that witness. And we had such a fear of the Lord and knew it would someday be in a book. So journeying into the publishing world in 2020 is a goal we absolutely have! Hope you are doing well dear sister. He DELIGHTS in you!

I asked our pstor why this happened and he said because I smelled bad! He said my girlfriend left a smelly bag of onions for a homeless guy with wheels. I was devasted . He told me to ask God but God never answered my prayers before. But this time God answered me . I was sitting in my little wood broken chair at my broken wooden table eating my porridge for supper and God said , Look at you Larry! Feeling sorry for yourself! Well it's your fault stinky! Hey Ronnie and Mel, I really enjoy watching your videos. I thought that I knew a lot about dating and stuff, but so far you've been proving that I was wrong and that I still need to learn a lot more. So I'm 17 (almost 18) and I've got a question. What do you do when a girl is calling you her "Best Guy Friend" but at the same time it feels like she is ignoring you sometimes. As if you are not friends at all. But then you go on a youth trip and you are like best friends again. Is it me who is doing something incorrect or is it her mistake? And how should I react to this, because many times I felt very lonely and even broken and then when I meet her again, it seems as if nothing sad ever happened from her point of view. But I still feel shattered on the inside but I don't notice it when having a good conversation with her. I am a christian and God is my number one priority, but what do you think I should do to not feel ignored by her? God bless you! Thanks!
@RonnieandMel4 жыл бұрын
+german200217 aww so sorry to hear about this brother. That is hard and if you watch our BOUNDARIES WITH THE OPPOSITE SEX video last week, these are some of the scenarios that can happen in friendships that can hurt our heart. When people say “best friend”, “best guy friend” a lot of times they do it because it gives them a sense of ownership. Like they need something to feel good about themselves and so they say that hoping that person will always be there for them. But it’s normal out of a selfish fear of something. And it’s sad for people on the other end, as you can feel a little used. I would definetly try and set some boundaries on your end in your heart. If you need to have a conversation, you could, to define some things. But I would keep all girl friends on the same level, not one getting super close access. If you want to date someone then they can come closer. But friends I would keep them all equally at a healthy distance until there is some intentional step towards dating. Does that make any sense?
@german-ln6ho4 жыл бұрын
@@RonnieandMel It is so true when you said,"feel a little used" because that is exactly how I felt at one point and still do from time to time. I've seen several of your boundaries videos and I will definitely add them into my life because so far it looks like they only benefit people. I'm mostly not sure if I'm doing everything correctly from my side, and what can I do to only improve. She is my closest friend right now and I'm scared to push her back since I know that it will hurt me emotionally, and I don't want her to be even more broken because she is going through some difficult stresses right now. I'm really trying to find Gods will in all of this mess and to feel him close again, but my prayers kinda feel empty right now. I'm already praying for three families right now and I'm very worried for all of them, plus I'm trying to figure out my own difficulties which adds even more stress. I pray to God every day, several times per day but sometimes it feels like my prayers are not heard. What should I do and can you please pray for me? Thanks and God Bless You!
@RonnieandMel4 жыл бұрын
Aww absolutely praying for you brother! That’s a lot. Just keep giving it to God. As far as your friendships, it definitely can be complicated cause our hearts can get a little involved, so perhaps just have a conversation about you wanting to really focus on growing your community with other men and encourage her to seek our deeper friendships with girls. Not because anyone did anything wrong but just that is where you feel God leading. I think it would be great to get in good community with other guys! But we will definitely be praying for you brother. BeLive that He is with you, believe that He cares about you, your heart and your prayers, and maybe get in the Word and really focus on those verses. Declare them until you believe it again. He is proud of you brother. You have a pure heart and He sees it! Bless you!

I'm currently dating and my girlfriend just introduced this "Boundaries" topic into our relationship after watching two of your videos on boundaries. Honestly, I'm not sure I can do it. Feels like: 1) I'm being put in a cage purported as a "Godly relationship" 2) I'm being coerced to into marrying her sooner After all these years of happy living, how I'm I supposed to just stop touching her and wait till marriage? I'm not sure I can do this. Now, if I don't do it, then I end up leading her into what she terms as a sinful relationship. I'm not that bad, well, at least, I'm a very respectful man - I care about her spirituality, especially now that she's been so much about it. Let me cut the story short: I feel like this marks the end of our relationship. I feel like I should leave her to focus on her spirituality rather than staying around and leading her into a sinful relationship. It hurts and it's very stressing, but I can't think of any other way to make her life better. (Another thing, Sweetie, I know you'll be back here to re-watch this video soon, and you'll probably see this comment. If you do, please just assume I was drunk while typing or that you didn't see any comment.)
@Zamstein4 жыл бұрын
Edward Ndukui ... hi. I noticed you wrote to your sweetie and said if she reads your comment to ignore it etc etc or assume you were under the influence. That sparked my curiosity- because that statement is revealing the state of your heart, also what you said about feeling put into a cage by a godly relationship. It sounds like you’re dealing with a lot of fear and may not be ready for marriage. Or; maybe if you look at it another way as an opportunity to get ready for the woman you love, which love can inspire us all to change. Either way you will need to ask God to help you conquer this fear in order to be righteous. Most people want to be happy and don’t want to be righteous; but in reality if you put righteousness first you will find happiness. Godly relationships will make us happy, and a good woman is a blessing. The fact that your woman is desiring God means she is seeking Holy Righteousness and that’s not a trap; or a prison. To address your second comment about being coerced into marrying her sooner, how long have you been together? If you’re serious about the relationship, I’m just wondering why marriage wouldn’t be included in that? Making commitments can be scary but Holy Covenants are a protection to both the man and the wife. You are benefiting from a godly woman, as a god fearing woman is a blessing to a man. I feel I can say this more easily to you because I am a stranger but Jesus loves you and will never leave you, it might help to try to make some time for yourself to pray and speak with Him. Ask Him to reveal Himself and His desires for your life to you. Be careful about hurting the woman you love out of fear, sometimes we can’t undo those types of mistakes. God can change your heart to match His will, if we humbly seek Him and ask.

Hope you are great. Would you include Casey and Jeb in your prayers today? He is friends with Cory Hart and his wife Pink (worldly) which is fine. I am asking that the Lord will begin TODAY to strategically place ppl in his life and Jeb's life that would influence them toward the Truth of the Gospel! Casey and Jeb wouId have an open heart toward the Lord. I declare they will know the truth and be SET FREE! Read more

Solid video. I have a question for clarification. My girlfriend and I have done a great job at establishing and keeping physical boundaries, but we are trying to find out how to set spiritual boundaries. Like, what is “too spiritually intimate”?

I'm reading your success in singleness guide and I want to ask about one point "I commit to not awaken love before its time by fantasizing about "the future"." I know this is a must, but it is an area I struggle with a lot. Do you have any practical tips for how to combat this area?
@RonnieandMel4 жыл бұрын
I think it’s okay to have desires for your future and simply give them to the Lord in prayer, but when you find yourself “fantasizing”, just ask God to help you. Set your mind back on things above, on the things He has called you to in THIS season. And maybe you need to confess it to a friend, who can pray for you and hold you accountable. Also there may be certain things that lead you to the fantasizing, whether it be certain shows, social media, etc. just identify what starts those thoughts and try to cut it out or put boundaries. Hope that helps 😊

Thanks! Yeah a “fast” from social media etc is often needed. Unfortunately a diet of Disney, romantic comedies, and Jane Austen type dramas over the past 30 years has given me a lot I need to renew my mind from in terms of irrational romantic hopes for the future. Lol.

Okay so what CAN you do in a Christian relationship? Because all these restrictions doesn’t leave room for much.

Any advice for someone who has a heart for marriage (and knows that done right, it can be such a blessing), but has only been in destructive, sinful relationships in the past and has much anxiety when it comes to trusting in guys...Anyone been here before? What happened in your life that helped you to heal and that overcome fear?

Hi guys. I love this story. I had a question. I want to make sure i understood correctly. At the end of the video mel stated you two had a past with each other? I hope for someone and i feel like we could never be only because we’ve crossed boundaries before that are only meant for marriage. Just wondering if thats what you meant. If so i would have so much hope and faith that we could restore what we had if we do things right!
