I’m not gonna lie, I was an ETF fanboy and never followed him much after he left. Heard Zombies on the Dailywire and fuck man do I regret not getting back to him earlier. He’s evolved, which I can’t say about ETF! Ronnie has put in the work and it shows.

I have to say I have just found your music I am 48 years old, and I love it!!! From what I have read this song is about anxiety and Thanatophobia. I grew up in an extremely abuse home for most my life where I was not only beaten but told every day I was nothing, no good, would never amount to anything and much worse. Then I went to school and was bullied in school because I couldn't afford nice stuff. They would physically and mentally go after me. One even cut my ponytail off, he sat behind me because of that I suffer from Complex post-traumatic stress disorder. Anyways, when I first heard this song, it hit me like a ton of bricks because I hear all the people who have bullied me retelling me over and over again how I am a waste of space, time, energy and I should just die. It has been hard way to live all these years, but even with meds and therapy have I have not been able to win the battles in my head. The sad part is I have the opposite of Thanatophobia I do not fear it I spent most of my days wishing for it, but this song gives me hope that I too can win this battle and take out those voices. Thank you! Also, it would be horrible if this song came on in an elevator because I would have to pull the emergency button to stop the elevator so I could listen to the whole song then promptly get arrested for doing so. lol

I just wanna say thank you for addressing the health anxiety and Thanatophobia in this song/video. I have been dealing with this really bad (panic attacks at random points in the day...and night) and watching your video, the reactions, and your reactions/explanations/rant (love the rants lol) is almost like therapy for me. Ronnie writes rock anthems, he keeps honing those blades of his craft. There is a universality to it that is not common, but by it, creates a commonality. I ain't fronting, I ain't going fanboy, I just know music, so hear me out, all. There are artists throughout time that have a mastery of music for the generation, within all the veins of music in that era. Ronnie is the one of the Mozart's of rock, punctuating time by being the real deal. Take a symphony of Mozart's age, and compare age to age, not art to art, but game to game, he's the same. RR just knows how to put together all the elements of the day that are in his wheelhouse to create. Ronnie Radke's writes rock aria's. Need more proof? Look at how he can bring us ALL together by song, it knows no limits, because this is universal. "The Drug in Me is Reimagined" is when you really saw it start to gel.

It amazes me that people can put down music. I am not a huge fan of techno or jazz however I can listen to it and appreciate the effort and time that goes into it. I love pretty much all other music so I love Ronnie's stuff since it's kinda a Mashup of rap and hip hop and old rock and at times can even go opera or classical (drug in me is remained). I love watching these, mainly because we get to hear your perspective on things. Also, not a ton of artists out there who give so much of their time so freely. I have a short letter I wrote to you after watching Popular Monster, but could never find info on where I could send it. So, in short, I want to thank you for addressing all types of mental health issues. Your lyrics, especially in Popular Monster, have helped me to understand my children better. They all have different disorders (schizophrenia, anxiety, depression, autism), that makes it difficult to understand what they are going through. Also i believe the beginning first ego is the him sitting there in jail contemplating his past and then also his future as he knew he wasnt going to stop making music and he knew he was going to get out and need to live his life again at the prime of his age and his jail self would meditate and picture himself as many things many genres many careers and if he didnt see himself agreeing to that said path a new idea eould.come in and destroy it pushing him forward to greater things and when he was finally free he went with what he wanted to do.....be himself and going to stay being himself even if himself wants to stop him but he learned mental strength from the long nights in his head in jail.......again i could be wrong but you know what.......its a feeling and after hearing this everyday all day because of my son since it came out and watching the video all the way everytime.......id say i have an alright idea and ronnie if you read this what do you think?
