I had to travel recently amidst the chaos going on in the world due to wok obligations. I managed to get a skateboard ride in while travelling and provide tips and tricks for how to bring an electric skateboard with you on an airplane. If you don't have to travel right now, don't. But when this all clears up, I hope these help you out!

Cool vid as always, thank you. The shipping your board option works well when away for a few weeks otherwise just take a push board, no guilt with the runner's then 😜🤣 Question: Would you or anyone know if there is a restriction on the number of batteries you can fly? So for example 4x88wh is this possible? With connectors they could be reassembled upon arrival and hey presto the board has some decent range again (especially for us taller heavier riders 😜🤣)

TSA site says you can batteries not exceeding 160wh each, but it doesn’t say if there is a limit

@@RonnieSarmiento Yes, in Europe the limit is about the same, but some airlines will only allow up to100wh. Mind you we have had about 80-90% of flights grounded so there will be no real air travel for a while... On a plus side the roads are becoming a lot quieter, so more opportunity to ride ;) It would be good to have some clarification on this, no one seems to know... As for movies check out the doc' "DogTown and Z-Boys" and then the film "Lords of DogTown" :D) Enjoy

Nice vid! thanks for sharing. Do you prefer mellow over revel kit? I personally cannot decide at the moment between Revel kit 2WD and Verreal RS. I know these are to different boards, but still I know you tried/have revel kit any though why you should NOT buy it? :)

Mellow is the easiest to travel with along with being all around pretty good. Revel is also good, I just don’t want to rust trying to trace with it as the battery is right on the cusp of being allowed. I’ll have to risk it when this is all over and I can travel haha

I'd definitely take the chance on a Revel direct-drive kit as you can put pretty much any wheels on it. Can't say that about Mellow Drive. I like the single enclosure on the Verreal F1 too.

@@RonnieSarmiento but I just bought the backfire zealot. which is clearly "NO CARRY ON" battery. Btw, I need your opinion about my board. I used to rode on Meepo v 1.5. The only thing i did not like was its brake. I got tossed off from the board seriously a couple of times and hurt myself badly. So I was looking for a board with a good brake. but it was really hard to find. long story short, I narrowed it down to Wowgo Knight and Backfire Zealot. in the end I chose Zealot since many people recommended belt drive motor. But.. wow.. it is really noisy!!! And i thought Zealot will have smoother braking and acceleration compare to my old Meepo since ... you know, it is much later product. But..wow, it was quite difficult to control the acceleration in the beginning even with the Economy mode. So I am seriously thinking about selling this board and buy Knight or something else. Do you think this is too early to decide or should I just switch to other board. DK's 2020 best board episode also affected me to choose Zealot. Im not a good skateboarder, also dont have that long experience of riding. Just started it from this summer. What is your honest opinion on Zealot? Do you think it is a good one to keep for a Triple A~ Double A level rider like me?
