Ronnie is such a great guy. Every time I ran into him in Madisonville, Ky he would greet me and ask how I had been. He even gave me the sheet music to a couple of songs he wrote.

One of my favorite songs of all time. Now it is a coincidence that on September 5, 2021 not that long before the video was shot... I visited Pigeon Point Lighthouse and I walked around and had some pics taken, and there's me in front of that old lighthouse just as Ronny stood there singing... It was, and probably still, undergoing repairs... so poignant was the words about tear this old lighthouse down, what's it's worth standing around?" As we now have GPS the ships aren't in need of these old lighthouses... a beautiful song and a very beautiful location to shoot the video. Thank you so much for both! God Bless you and your work.

This is so good. I feel like I typically hear somebody else perform this and maybe only once before have I heard Ronnie actually sing it himself. It is a treat to hear him sing it because I think there is something special about a song being sung by the writer of that song. It is also nice to see a current video of Ronnie Hinson again as it has been so long.
