Really cool seeing the aerobatics, and seeing our area from the sky a little bit.

Your aerobatic flight brings back great memories for me. I learned to fly a tailwheel aircraft by a great friend back in the mid 80s. We owned and rebuilt an Aeronca O-58B (Defender) together. He had a big tail 65 hp Champ then a 150 hp Aeronca 7GCBC. He loved snap rolls and would pull one without much of a warning. He also owned a Staggerwing at the time. No snap rolls in that one though. Sadly he passed away in 1991. Thanks for bringing back some great memories. I'm very happy to see you and your son flying together.

Thank you for take me on this ride. Brings also back some memories as Iflew the Bücker Jungmann for about 20 years with aerobatics too. Wonderful airplane. Flying taildraggers was my favorite. Piper Cub, Husky, Jodels, Aeronca Champ and some Zlins.

I don't know for sure if this is an accurate quote...Mark Twain once said, "The coldest winter I ever spent was the summer I spent in San Francisco." I have several good friends who live in the SF Bay area. She once told me, "We like to go down to the pier and watch tourists get fleeced while purchasing fleeces." Karl the Fog will roll right in ruining a beautiful summer day.

How did your son get hired at UAL so young? I would think he was competing with applicants with far more experience/hours. He didn't even meet any special "quotas"
@ronrogers7 ай бұрын
They had two programs. He worked as an intern and being a son, he qualified under the sons and daughters group.
