Der Carbon Frame Protector ist der größte Mist. Ich hatte mit diesem Teil auf der Autobahn fast ein Fahrrad verloren. Die Riemen zur Befestigung der Laufräder haben das Carbon-Rennrad schlussendlich waagerecht über der Fahrbahn gehalten. Problem bei dem Teil ist, dass es nicht das ganze Rohr umschließt. Die Klemme war sehr fest angezogen. Durch die Vibrationen während der Fahrt hat sich diese Manschette aber mit der Zeit leicht von den Zangen der Klemmhalterung weggedreht. Irgendwann war das dadurch entstandene Spiel zwischen Rahmen und Klemme groß genug, sodass die Klemmhalterung nicht mehr den Rahmen gehalten hat. Lieber einfache Rohrisolierung aus Schaumgummi nehmen (gibt es im Baumarkt).
