Solar Panels Roof vs Ground: which is better? Off Grid

In this video I'll go over the pros and cons of roof mounted solar panels vs ground mounted solar panels and tell you which I prefer.
When deciding to place your solar panels for your off grid cabin build there are risks that you must consider and I'll try to explain some of the most prominent risks you can face to help you better decide where to place your panels.

I prefer ground mount system. ☀ Much easier to maintain - clean - adjust - tinker - expand - etc.

For me personally where I am at, if I put them on the roof I would need permits, my ground mount are fairly "portable" and require no permits. Can fold up my 3kw setup in half hour with the wife's help and load it all in a truck to move anywhere.

There is a YT video of a guy who built a DIY 2-axis articulated ground solar panel array. The controller is a Raspberry Pi (relatively inexpensive) and easy to code. He built a photo-cell signal input from garden lights. It was ingenious. Roof mount requires good ventilation and a means to clean. As far as the optics no room behind or beside your house or off the side of the shed?

The shed is going away, the views are all around :D But I'm lucky as I have enough solar now really. Interesting on the articulated ground array. Over my head as it sounds a little more involved - I like Keep it simple :D

Fences are cheap! Your a Solar Guy grab a Solar Charged Fencer and run a top wire on a wood fence! Problem solved. You do have a wood source Right? LOL! Great Content!
