Are you worried about steel on aluminum corroding because of dissimilar metals? Or should the powder coating protect it?

@@mcwendel8066 we have been running the stainless steel and the aluminum together for the last 4 years and it has held up really well together. Typically one of the two parts is usually powder coated, which adds additional protection between the surfaces.👍

Are they strong enough to handle the weight of a 270° awning?

Sleek design, however the mounting bracket looks weak, especially when you off-roading with your rooftop tent on the swing force puts a lot stress on these brackets, would be nice to add gusset to add strength.

Wouldn't some simple gussets at the bend solve the issue of a weak point?

After looking at things we felt the legs needed to be bent out of steel and bent at a 90 degree to maximize the amount of downward force
