....my mate used to own a caravan at Ocean Edge, and we used to go in this pub back in 1985 - 86....it's the local population that's to blame - why didn't the nearby residents use it more? Do you know when it dates from...I'm sure there were actual branches and a tree trunk inside , forming supports for the ceiling...or was I imagining it?! We used to go in the Jim Bowen owned pub near Middleton Tower too, and in Lancaster , the Nags Head and Blue Anchor....amongst a dozen others!

Nice bit of impromptu filming. It's quite a while since I last took a Pint in there. I think the 'action' has now moved to the Middleton Social Club. Very pleasant background music, as usual.
