Good video as always.......2 things I would think the legs would slide up into one another for storage like a bag awning. Also I used to drill holes and use S hooks for hanging lanterns and lights on our pop up camper awning.

From South Africa Seam seal spray spray inside & outside down the stitching. But, with canvas, you need to wet it down very well (canvas must be thoroughly wet,) leave open to completely dry, the cotton fibers swell and create the waterproofness. Take you mattress out when you do this. Test again before putting your mattress back, should solve any leaks. The seam seal closes the stitching holes caused by the sewing needle You're welcome, Warren

Won’t your supporting (vertical) legs just retract into the poles already there instead of taking them out and storing them separately? Ours just telescope into the main supports so we just extend them when we open our awning. Kind of like we extend our horizontal supports. Just curious. 🤨

I wish. I could probably cut the legs on the awning down about 1/2” on each leg and then insert the extensions. That would probably give me enough room to close them up in the awning track.

I'm guessing the clamshell cover isn't watertight, as I going to suggest putting a dab of silicon sealant on the rivet heads, to prevent water intrusion, but not needed if the cover isn't gasketed.

There is a large gasket between the clamshell, so I’m thinking it was just the seams. I’m going to put some seam sealer on all the zippered areas and see if that helps.

Really liking the concept of the awning for sure. I added the lantern link to my amazon list as well. Curious.....did I miss the Bluetti Giveaway video? I didnt see it, but I thought you said it would be announced after two weeks of the initial video. Its a great giveaway. This awning concept has me thinking I could put a roortop tent and an awning onto my 5x10 utility trailer if I made a frame. Heck, I can even get my atv underneath it that way......love where this may be going for me.

I needed to remove as much weight as possible from my truck due to payload issues and pulling my RV. This setup is much lighter and I can take on/off very easily. Plus, I just like it more. It’s more fun for me.

This Company is horrible- Placed an order for a 6.7' x9.8' awning took almost 3weeks to arrive (page said in stock). Item finally arrived and they sent the wrong item size! requested a replacement and pick up of the wrong item sent. They assured me they would send the correct one email after email over a month and a half and they have completely stopped communicating and I still have the wrong item that has not been picked up- that is useless to me. Stay far away!!! from this place I am presently disputing with my bank and Affirm for a refund. They have stopped answering my email.. stay away!!

the fact, they sent you parts to repair their product is enough to stop me from ever dealing with them, if it was the carriers fault, that's between those two, not the customers problem. They probably know what they can do with their product

I’d buy BENEHIKE in heart beat I’m pretty sure they know it was the couriers fault to make things right they handled it. AWESOME COMPANY!!!!
