Thank you for the very useful video! Love the simplicity of the "Blade" version!

Looking forward to seeing the other episodes of your journey through southern Africa. Hope you'll upload them soon. I really enjoyed the previous episodes

I've owned four hardshell tents, including the Eezi Awn Stealth. I wanted the roof rails and simple set up that the Blade provides. This my favorite tent that I've used. Nice video!

hope you get this, just looked at your Orange River raft trip. on end day 3 , Once again, great video. Matt, at 3,29/3,30 just after "witches hat", there is a rock that looks like a face looking up - lying on the back, showing the eyes, nose, mouth, chin and neck.

hi, what about the mesh on the openings, I think it is too coarse, sendflies and mosquitos can get through

That Hilux got pimped into being the Blade Runner now 😂 I love the tent, just wonder how I'd cope with a RTT as I am 60+ and with some mobility restriction after stroke. We can do chalets but what to do at Koringkorrelbaai...??
@mattdubber Жыл бұрын
I would say it isn’t easy setting up any RTT if you have limited mobility, especially if your vehicle is high off the ground! Trailer might be a better option.

Good vid mate - one of the factors is weight. Would have been cool to compare the weights mounted on the roof

Thanks mate, well shot and commented. My experience of living in a roof tent for 7 years, the most important thing is waterproofing, especially with that carpet on the inside. How will it hold up for 12 hours in a Congo rainstorm please? 🙂
@mattdubber Жыл бұрын
We had a serious rainstorm right after filming this, bucketed down the whole night and it held up very well.

Excellent video. Nice tent but too heavy (never mind pricey) for my setup - I'm limited to 60 kg up top. What are your thoughts on the Frontrunner tent?

Sir do you recommend the use of Donnyfl Fatboy 2 Moderator in .177 air rifle with 500mm barrel, shooting at average 940fps. Will Fatboy 2 be effective and softened the sound from muzzle. Please advice Sir. Regards

As a celebrity your advice is real life testing. Thanks

The insect net is on the inside and the canvas door on the outside. So if you want to close the canvas door during the night as the air cools down, you have to open the insects net first. That's the reason why I will never buy one. Most other rrt have the canvas on the inside
@woolengrappler Жыл бұрын
Exactly! The mesh should always be on the outside!

The way the financial systems goes I predict this is the only affordable housing for the future. Then one can put a sign on " I sleep where I want "

This tent is easy but Bundutec is easier than this.

haha, I bought the BunduTop, love it. So yeah, was interesting to compare my experience vs. this one.
