Rooftop Writers Initiative Cast Talkback | Merrily We Roll Along on Broadway

Stephen Sondheim and George Furth’s Merrily We Roll Along underscores the profound impact that emerging young writers can make. It is in this spirit that we partnered with the Stephen Sondheim Foundation, American Theater Wing's Jonathan Larson Grant, and American Express® to launch the Rooftop Writers Initiative.
On February 29th, we welcomed 100 young artists who submitted their original work and explained what motivates them to write. They received two complimentary tickets to a special Merrily performance and, after the performance, they attended an audience talkback with the cast moderated by Benj Pasek!
