Just a tip. When the opponent runs 5 wides or anything with an empty backfield and only 5 lineman, run mid blitz and user whoever is covering the tight end and press. Usually gets a sack each time. You also have to press the corners

I have a little trick for you. You should use the Jump Cut move during run plays, especially during HB Dives. You can do it by snapping the ball, holding the left trigger, and then snapping the left stick to the left. It would be really helpful. Also love your videos, I really wish the tip I used helps!!!! its funny in my franchise I also drafted a power back with not that much speed. Usually in 17 also I always used backs with 99 speed and 99 juke move you dominated everything. In 18 I feel like power backs are waaay stronger and you can make like 200 yards every game with them. as soon as you truck the defenders tend to lose their angles for the tackle even if you dont truck anyone.

While watching this, at 11:03, I paused the videos and saw something. TJ McCoy has more TDs. 1 less attempt, 5 average, and alot less total yards. Between TJ McCoy and DeMarcus Meeks, I dont think it would have mattered which running back you got. Sure Meeks is faster, but McCoy is a powerback that would have been very good going against counter plays cause of his great streak and ability to break tackles.

So as much as we all love dirty sanchez, i feel you should go get a safety with some experience. Doesnt have to be nuts, just have some coverage and pursuit and such. Perhaps like Devin McCourty or Patrick Chung or someone like that for the season while hooker heals and then after the year, dish him back out.

Move to a 4-3 defense. There is less movements and blitzes and it's easier to play
