My favorite is the half full bottles of lime Gatorade that drivers throw out. So wasteful

Had a bad experience at a Walmart. I stopped to shop for an hour. While we were shopping and we were ticketed. I missed the sign and at the end of the day it was my fault but it doesn’t change the fact that it was predatory against truckers. You’re very eloquent and made some great points !!

I'm glad that I am not the only one. That picks up after others. When I can park at a Walmart. I am very thankful and I do the right thing, because it's the right thing to do. Maybe it's because I'm an Army Vet also. 25th INF Div (LT). 1996 to 2001

Most Walmarts in Nebraska actually have an area for truck parking. This is where most of my shopping is done because of it.

I was 8 or 9 when I asked my mom what integrity meant. " Honey, it's what you do when no one is looking." Mark, you must have known my mom.

Great video, I always throw my trash in the garbage. I wish more people would do the same. This video explained a lot. Looking forward to the Rookie Room. Congrats on becoming a major truck stop spokes person. Your the man!

A lot of the restrictions have come from city or county ordinances stipulating where trucks can park overnight.

You are so right about that. I hate how more and more places are banning truck parking but there are more hogs than professionals out here, so I don't blame property managers/owners. Is not only the garbage left behind, but trucks tear up the asphalt or leave big holes on the dirt, all that costs them money to repair. When I drove OTR, I used to call the walmart I wanted to park at, speak with the manager and ask if it was ok and I would meet the manager once I got there. A lot of times they were appreciative of that. A few times they would say "no, no big trucks here" but it was rare.

One issue I had with a driver where I work is we had s driver on he days off or he reset he would leave his truck in our lot. For a few days. no matter how many times I told him he couldn't do that he still did. I had to call his company and tell them that after weeks of warnings that if he don't come back with in a hour he will be towed. He would leave his truck in prime parking areas. He clams he talked to local police. Not the building management.

There's 2 Walmart locations across I80 in NE that have truck parking.

I know a guy that is making $1,00,000 a month from walmart being on his land and he lets trucks park as long as they ask first.

Great bit on integrity... I've been preaching that definition for years to my kids. .... It's tough though.. the number of people who live by that are dwindling at a break neck speed. And common sense has become a bonafide super power. Great video thx

Walmart is what you call private property with public access.
