Room cafes I seen some vids on the ones in Japan a few years ago I did not know they are in Korea now, I thought Korean Laws would be more strict on these things. Grate vid Jina and you are looking so beautiful as always girl ❤😊

Inadequate sex education + easy places to have sex = more teenage pregnancy. That's bad for the parents, unless the government provides lots and lots of support. I don't think Korea's government provides enough support, so some part of the equation should change.

What about university students in dormitories or shared houses? They can also do whatever they want as they're finally free and far away from their parents So if young people are going to do mistakes, it's not just in the rooms cafes or dvd-bangs lol So I really think the fault is on the law and /or on the owners of the cafes about allowing these 'rooms cafes' to even have separate rooms in the first place!

that's the café owners' faults! they turned the café into a motel and expect people to not have sexy time in there? weird! i noticed this in kdramas where people had private dining rooms and i thought it was cool btu i didn't know about the bedroom part 0_0 btw, i'm just starting to learn korean because it's such an interesting and beautiful language... so is your actual name kim jin-a? just curious

There are similar places here in Singapore. They are marketed as places to watch shows with your friends or SO in privacy for a few hours. You get a whole space with walls, not just curtains. There is a TV, comfy sofa and etc. So far no negative annotations attached to these places. People are free to do what they want to do because if they wanted to, they could do it anywhere. Karaoke, handicap toilet, etc

In Vietnam, we have film cafes (just like room cafes in Korea). In film cafes, there are rooms in which a big screen/a TV is set up to watch movies with a bed. In some film cafes, you can book a VIP room that has its own bathroom. Basically, you need to book in advance a room and set up the time, and choose the film you want to see, or just choose Netflix if there is Netflix. Then you order food/drink. You will pay per hour or overnight (the prices are different). In actuality, film cafes act just like motels/hotels, but with films :))) My boyfriend and I usually go to film cafes to have some privacy, and we are adults, it's fine. But yes, like you said, teenagers can go there too, so it poses a danger for those who are not educated well about sex.

Hi Jina, my notifications are on, yet am still missing your videos 😢. Coming too late. So, my question is this. This look like Love motels rather then cafes. The caveat is this. We all know what they are doing in those private rooms. Unless they use protection, I would say than the more babies should be born adter this. There should be no more low birth rate in S. Korea. 👍

We were all teenagers once, and we all know that if teenagers want to have s3x, they are going to do it no matter what. Its better for them to have a safe, clean and comfortable place to do it. Teens that pick these safe places are also more likely to practise safe s3x

I guess this is where the saying, "when there is a will, there is a way" makes sense to say... I know that if I wanted to "do the dew" I would do it regardless of where it was, and I did lol!!! And my guardians were EXTREMELY strict.

Before this video the only rooms I've heard of were the PC and Singing rooms. This was very interesting. GIVE US MORE!!!! So kids here may have parties where a group gets together but kids don't really date like that until after high school. But the fast ones are doing it in school bathrooms if the rumors can be believed.

Here in Japan, love hotels are plentiful, but for adults only, so if you're a teenager, you're more likely to go a karaoke box (although some have windows). 😬 In the US, it was all about having a car. Car == freedom to go anywhere, and basically also became your own mobile personal space to "take care of business." 🤣 Personally, I don't care if teenagers are doing their thing in a room café. They're going to find somewhere else to do it anyway.

Those "cafes" should be further investigated, but it'll probably be covered up and stay open. I'm guessing it'll promote a lot of sex trafficking and assault.

I can imagine how problematic it is for the country. It’s really a motel! It’s pretty obvious people would use it to have sex since it’s cheaper than an actual (registered) motel. Not just minors, I bet adults as well. Won’t even be surprised if celebrities use it for that too hahahahahahaha

Are not there any church youth social events that teenagers could attend as a group in order to help avoid the temptation?

Are there cameras in these rooms??? Why would anyone go there if they're being recorded... and if it's minors that's even more ick. And sounds like a big liability for business owners.

if the parents were not as disgusted about this natural part of life teenagers wouldn't need to hide when they did it, it's simples as that. the more taboo it is, the more unsafe it gets.
