I love all the little moments in this scene that help humanize the characters. Ben commenting on how bad the choice of music is, Mike being the one to point out the eight ball is missing and the connection between the sliding puzzle and the billiard balls, and later helping steady Ben after he jumps over the gap so he doesn't crash into the wall (unintentionally repaying the favor of Ben preventing him from falling into the first hole that appeared), and his later comment of "the craftmanshipin here is just terrifying. I hate this room so much." Amanda complaining about how her hands are wet from the ice room, Ben's banter with Mike about Mike's first obvious lock combination guesses, Mike helping Zoey reach the sliding puzzle - I just love all these characters so damn much, and all the tiny moments put into the scene. (though admittedly, Amanda and Zoey are the true stars of this scene in many ways)

That trope used to be relevant up until early 2000's Hollywood. The modern Hollywood trope is "The diverse female lead makes it to the end". I'm actually wondering whos trauma this room is supposed to represent. Spoilers below: The giant ovens is Amandas cause of her fire PTSD The frozen cabins was Jasons cause of his hyperthermia/cold PTSD The hospital room was Zoeys cause of her plane surviving PTSD The hallutionation room is most likey Bens cause of his smoking and alchohol issues. So either its based off Mikes trauma or Dannys trauma. Theres no flashbacks from Mike but mike does have billard knowledge and seems extremely scared of hights once the floor is falling Jason often yelling at Mike for it.

Actually i think that Ben's room was the one between the oven and the cold lake, there were many details that reminded him of the car accident he had. This room is most likely zoey's who is afraid of falling from heights just like what happened to her in the plane. The hospital room is for all of them, since they all spent time at the hospital and most likely to let them guess the reason of their imprisonment. Danny's room must be the hallucinating gas one as i think that's what killed his family if i recall correctly, and finally the room with the closing wall must be Mike's who had a mining incident where he was stuck with his coworker dead either in front of him or behind him i forgot.

@@JosephRossetti I'm fat and weak, I wouldn't have made it up her wall, around the wall they did or up the wall the others were on when she fell. As I said in my comment before. She made it up the starting wall, the others proved a safe path around the bottom outside wall and up the end wall. My question again, why would she risk a clear unsafe path along the ceiling? When she has a proven safe path down the wall she climbed, around the side wall then up the far wall the other people took. She already proved herself capable, asking what another person would do in that situation is pointless.

The wall behind her she already proved she could climb already because she climbed it to get where she fell and died. If she climbed back down that same wall , then skirted around the small ledge around the side wall everyone else used. Then climbed the far wall everyone else already imbed. When she had already proved to be the best climber of them all. Instead of taking a ceiling route that was not a proven safe route yet, clearly far more risky due to having to hang the entire time. Also I didn't say anything about the floor so not sure why your talking about it
