Can I just add another thing, you are graceful enough to not be in denial, a lot of these Beyonce, Mariah, Whitney fans find it hard to acknowledge that this woman is a legend in the making and not getting the credit she really really deserves, they know she's one of the greats but find it hard to admit it, she's unrivalled in this generation, for me anyway she could be the saving grace of the industry because the amount of shit that's getting the limelight 🇬🇧🔥👌❤️.

I hear you Steve. I live in Canada and tell my sisters, who are passionate Beyonce, Mariah, Whitney and Celine fans and they won't take the time to listen to Morissette. They don't want to know there is someone as good or probably better than them and they refuse to acknowledge me telling me I am "obsessed" with Morissette and can't be properly judgemental. Even tells my 8 year old granddaughter who loves music that I am crazy. HaHa. But we know better.

I first heard of Morissette, so I went to see everything about her. From the first time she sang this song - she was probably 12. Nobody listened, she open for this celebrity who obviously can't sing but signing autographs on the stage. Mori was the side show. Probably 4 people applauded, could be her family. Fast forward to this (she's been to competition and was given a losing mark by judges obviously). Then this happened! I have never cried so much in my life. She does that you know, make grown men cry as Mick Jagger used to say. That's when she remove her earpiece..look out!

Thank you so much for likewise loving our dearest Queen Morissette. You'd be more appreciative of her if you knew that at age 11 y/o she was diagnosed with a throat tumor which had to be operated on. She was shattered, of course, coz all she ever wanted was to become the best singer that she could be. But because of her faith in God And sheer hard work, she is now achieving her goal. Her throat tumor strengthened her faith in God. By the way, could you please react to her worship song "Could You Be Messiah." This song made many reactors cry.🌹👸💕

Morissette absolutely smashed it, nailed it, slayed it, this "Listen" by Beyonce! I've heard this many times on the radio, have watched Beyonce's music videos of it, but nothing like what I've experienced watching this Mori performance during that concert with Ms. Lani Misalucha at the Solaire Theatre in 2018. I knew that she would give justice to the song as she always does with other covers, but I did not expect her to narrate her music journey mid-song, and then to give her all-out afterwards. This one's felt to be personal to her, she was not just singing to cover the song, but I felt she was expressing her own personal emotions, she was singing her heart out! And she was able to connect to the audience and to me and convey these emotions, as evidenced by the loud cheers and applause caught by the audio of this cam which recorded it (by the way, many thanks to Critiko for capturing this precious moment!). This is my most favorite rendition of this song "Listen", by Mori, all of it, including her narration, and up until the end, with that dramatic Whitney Houston-like finale. 🥰

All artists are unique , and no one should hum and ha, if a cover is better than the original artist. This a Beyoncé hit, that was covered extremely well by Morissette. Maybe soon Beyonce, Arianna , and all the new talent will be covering Morissette songs , I Love You Still , Mirror , Will You Stay , Trophy , Phoenix , Undangon Ta Ni , Power . Let just appreciate each talent these artists give us, and don't say , one is better than the other. IMHO , Morissette's versatility , tone , and techniques make her the best on the planet today , but she makes you feel like you are her friend.....she is so humble and down to earth , and never feels she is above anyone. Watch her older LIVESTREAMS she did during the pandemic , you see the sweet , goofy , happy girl she is.

Rarely will a cover be better than the original, though in 2 cases, I have found ones....Rise-up by Morissette (WiSHbust ) and One Sweet Day, by Budakhel Ft. Katrina Velarde. of course that is just my opinion. Discovering talent outside our borders is eye opening.
