Stan Walker is an amazing Human born to touch our souls and heal. His whole Whanau is something very special. They have been through such trauma but come through with love and respect for each other and for Mankind as a whole. TV NZs "The Walkers" reality show highlights how close they are... Beautiful people and although they have made many mistakes as parents they own their mistakes and try to do better. They recently lost Stan's Dad, Ross.... such an awful time for them but they allowed anyone to join this time through Facebook live following the Tangi and all involved.... Not many Whanau are as honest and open as this one...and they do affect and touch so many people in a positive way.💖💖💖

What an amazing family. They deserve our prayers and we'll wishes. Mom and Stan are alike they mirror each other but the love is huge. I love his song " I Am" Being an Indigious Native American from AZ closeness to Mother Earth is prevalent to us also. We are dry farmers and depend on the rain and winter snows. Stan is my No1 Artist and someone I truly look up to. Absolutely enjoyed rewatching this with you 🥰 For Stan and his family to share their stories and this whole journey with the world is just so inspiring and Empowering. Funny you mentioned 'The Avatar' lol I watched an interview where Stan talks about that being his favourite cartoon and that was where some of his influence for one of his Tamoko (Tattoo) stemmed from but with a deeper meaning. Stan has the same characteristics as Ang tbh. He is connecting the world together through his beautiful music. Moe Mai Ra (Rest in Peace) to all Stan's Whanau and his father Ross who he recently lost too. There is another 20-minute documentary that is worth the watch too called, 'STAN’S STORY'

Stan - Our Taonga Our treasure ❤ after the operation he was back performing Rarotonga and Waitangi at Hoani Waititi marae. You could tell he was still healing but HUGE love and respect for Stan. Love him always. Arohanui ❤️

When Stan lost all the weight and was obviously sick the rumours were that he was involved with drugs. People were shocked when they realised that he had cancer. He did the documentary to educate the Maori people and others.

Luke dunno if you watched "I Am" from the AMAs (Aotearoa Music 🎶 Awards) but there's a bit where he loses it...his Dad died two days before that performance... I think both his Mum and Dad had the stomach removal operation too... blessings to you!!!

Next step is gene therapy when it becomes more applied. This is always a risk with isolated or inward marrying communities...deliberate or accidental. This guys an incredible artist and honest human being....
