Faouzia Reaction 'Desert Rose' (The Singer 2024) - IN-CRED-IBLE!!!! 🌹

Adam Lambert was in a separate challenge that didn't affect the main competition - in essence, a guest performer. He sang Whataya Want From Me. After Faouzia's performance, he said she hit every note and was amazing. He also wondered when does she breathe. The song was actually written by an Algerian songwriter, Cheb Rabah and Sting and originally performed by Sting, with Cheb Mami singing the Arabic parts. It's one of Faouzia's Mom's favourites so she sings it in many of her shows.

Yes!!! This performance is so much better than some of the others that I’ve watched from her on this contest! This one makes me feel like ok, Faouzia is back! Not that the others were terrible or anything; they just weren’t super polished in places. I was surprised by it honestly because she usually is so polished. This one was really really damn good though! I love her voice and I love the Arabic influences that she incorporates into her singing style. Beautiful!!

As far as I can tell, you havent done a reaction to "Desert Rose", either by Faouzia or the original by Sting with Cheb Mami. I still prefer Sting's, but Faouzia does such a nice job, I'm happy to listen to her too.
