When the Roomba is going back and forth, it means it's using dirt detect sensors to get extra dust and other debris off the floor.

If it's bumping into objects, it's not because of low intelligence, it is because it is reactive. Not all robot vacuums can see everything.

Two things: kept missing the black piece of dust in the opposite side of it's hook-up, and should be a little quieter. You're right - totally not worth the price.

En fait pour qu'il soit vraiment opérationnel il faut lui préparer le travail : mettre les chaises à l'envers sur la table du salon et déplacer quelques objets. Quand on voit le prix du modèle haut de gamme (800 euros), on est vite dissuadé ! A la rigueur un modèle à 400 euros devrait faire l'affaire.

Though there is supposed to be some level of artificial intelligence in its ability to "map" a room, the cleaning pattern appeared to be quite random, and not very efficient. We are considering a Mint 4200 floor sweeper, and I have been researching various Roomba models as an alternative. We have heard a number of goods things about the Roomba, but still haven't made up our minds.

It's actually AMAZING!!! My floors are so clean now all the time!!! It got a 💩 ton of dust bunnies from under my bed too!!! Has no problem picking up change either, goes over my rug and recharges itself!!! IM IN LOVE!!!
