Thanks for the video! Great review! Does it have to be light in the room (because of the camera), or can I just leave it working during the night?

Having to refill the water is while I’ll be passing on this one. I want a s9 with a camera.

I don't think they're bringing out a S9 replacement at any stage
@sawantvishal Жыл бұрын
Almost none of the reviews, including this one, show these vacuums dealing with multiple floors. How does this deal with multiple maps? I saw a review of the S9 that said it pretty much crashed every time and they had to rebuild the maps multiple times. How do these two deal with that scenario?
@Reveriii11 ай бұрын
Can't speak to the J7 Combo in the review, but I've owned an i7+ since 2019 and it handles multiple floors very well. You can use it on another floor with or without an additional charging station, however, if the other floor is a larger area (over 900 sqft) it most likely wont finish the entire run without returning to the area you started in and needing to recharge. I have a charging station on each floor of my house, and I simply move the robot to each floor when it needs to be vacuumed. It automatically detects which floor its on based on the mapping runs you've previously completed. I would not say a roomba (or any robot vacuum) is a complete substitute for vacuuming carpet though. They simply do not have enough power to remove deep down dirt or pet hair. They will pick up 75-80% of it, so it's good for incremental vacuuming if you have a lot of pets and only want to do a deep vacuum (with a traditional upright like a Dyson) once a week without it getting too gross in between.

does the internal parts get crusty because there is a combination moisture and dust in one machine?

the price is around 1k $ in Dubai. Could you please recommend few other models for an apartment with mixed hard floor (70% of the area) and few carpets

Check out my most recent videos - S8 Pro Ultra, L10S Ultra, or Eufy X9 Pro (video coming really soon) would be the top options. Maybe a Roborock Q Revo too if you want to spend less.

Thanks for the review! Do you know if the Braava avoids obstacles like wires in this setup? Thanks
@RobomateTV Жыл бұрын
The Braava doesn’t have any obstacle avoidance, however it’s way less likely to get caught up in stuff without the roller brush

Sorry but you have the smal container that you get. You need to put the content in to it and when its almost full its the max for the cleaner cintainer.

I wonder if it would work better with the side brush removed.

Ha, often they do in tests. In real life it's better though. Maybe I should start testing them with the sidebrushes removed.

If i have just hardwood floor … what would you suggest ? Could i even consider just the m6
@trainman12337 Жыл бұрын
Depends if you want to vaccum and mop or just mop. If you only want to mop I would suggest the M6 but if you want to do both I would actually suggest the Shark AI VacMop as roombas are built more for carpets. -4 year robot vacuum collector

Will the bin on the J7 register as being full if it gets full with just pet hair, or is it triggered by weight? My German Shepherds hair would fill the bin pretty quickly.

Thanks for the review :) How about the mop itself, how often does it need to be changed?
@RobomateTV Жыл бұрын
it really depends on your home! If you have pets obviously a lot more regularly. In my apartment I get away with quite a while as I don't bring much dirt in (carpark inside, then walk down carpeted corridors first etc).
@hadrast Жыл бұрын
A couple questions: I've seen reviews noting that some of the liquid spray from the nozzles gets drawn up by the vacuum, causing clumping in the roller area. Did you notice that at all? Apologies if I missed it, but what spray settings did you run the bots with?
@RobomateTV Жыл бұрын
The combo feeds the water down and doesn’t spray it like the M6 does. Is this what you’re referring to in your first question? With regards to the second, we had them both set on their maximum mopping settings. :)
@hadrast Жыл бұрын
@@RobomateTV Thanks for the second answer; I meant that with the nozzles immediately behind the rollers, apparently some reviewers found that the vacuum suction would draw some stray water forward into the roller assembly.
@somedayprin3384 Жыл бұрын
Which one do you prefer the normal s7 + or this one
@RobomateTV Жыл бұрын
It really depends on the situation. I am a big fan of LiDAR but the dual rollers are definitely better
