Thanks for the great review. I saw several spots my zero turn would've got stuck in so it's good to see this mower has good traction in the mud. Have you done your follow up video to this yet?

re the slipping whilst turning on the bank -it needs an optional set of spiked wheels - maybe a 3D printing project ?

The side brush tips rip off within weeks unless you have all hard floor. The navigation has gotten worse over time, not better. Probably because IRobot is losing money and was really counting on Amazon bailing them out. The suction is amazing, but I think the Dreame X40 Ultra now has them beat with 12000 pa suction. However, that's why I'm looking up videos about it to see what the s9+ pa rating actually is. The suction was the main reason I got it years ago. But I have to say, you're comment that the side brush is one of the best things about this robot, I would have to strongly disagree based on years of experience with it continually losing all of its brush arms.

Wanted to know if you figured this out and can you post a video. How do I quickly just vacuum one room (not on a schedule, no mopping) Just a vacuum to pick up a small mess. Mine seems to want to mop and vacuum no matter what I do

Sold mine after 6 month. Very outdated tech. Sold for half of what I paid for it with braava mop which was even more outdated. Weak battery, suction, mapping, inefficient and disappointing in every way.

Evovacs robot is terrible If you buy one of them, you will end up regretting. My robot broke down in a year and a half. I asked to repair it. But they couldn't do that. Even they hadn't the parts. They recommeded someone they didn't know exactly to me. I have been waiting for 2 months since I sent them my robot after paying a lot of money for repairing

Why is everyone testing these things on super easy to vacuum stuff like rice and cereal? I’m going to have to assume it’s because they are terrible vacuums and they can’t vacuum up real stuff.

Thoughts on the dreame L10s ultra pro heat? It’s currently priced $1699 in Aus. Is there an option you’d consider better for a similar price? Key features I want are good for pet hair, good mopping, good self cleaning and drying for minimal maintenance and good obstacle avoidance (kids toys). I like the hot water cleaning and mop extender features added onto this. Also prefer one that isn’t super chunky, I like the thin design of the l10 base.

Watch out - map size that can be mapped is limited in software, and they don't mention it anywhere. I bought 5000 model in September of 2023, it does not like wet grass barely can keep up with ~3000m3 in autumn and I got a surprise trying to map full yard this spring, now thinking of selling it.

An year later, do you still use it and like it? Any repairs? Thanks!
@Dogappel20 күн бұрын
I am still using it in 2024. The build quality is great. And I really like the navigation AI. It's really good at navigating around objects instead of bumping into them. Our cat sometimes sleeps into the door opening, and the robot doesn't bump into the cat, it just tries to go around him. And if it can't get thru it just stops and says it can't reach the location. It's quite funny.

Will you be doing a review soon? Wondering about how well the Yuka can handle hills.
@RobomateTV21 күн бұрын
Not for a while yet. Should be soon! This one was a pre-beta version so I'll need to get one of the release versions before I know what to say! The cutting and navigation was incredible on this, however there were still a few bugs with hardware. Zero signal issues in tough conditions and even more cutting power than the Luba, weak point is definitely the 3 wheel system. It needs pretty even (not bumpy as opposed to non-sloping) ground otherwise it can get stuck.
@MrKriek22 күн бұрын
Bending it over and driving over it is not cutting.

I was wondering if a Luba would work on my yard with a bit of a hill. After looking at the hill in this video, it's clear it would work in my yard.

At 70, I am sticking to my promise to find a way to mow my lawn from inside my house. I experimented with a R/C driven mower but I needed to see the cut area so I added a Go Pro. Then I needed other changes and on and on. Then I questioned would this unit (LUBA) cut SE USA Bermuda grass? This video makes me think it would. Thanks for an excellent, informative video.. 0:31
