Roomozy's Review of Ibis Hotel on Royal Mile, Edinburgh, Scotland

In order to assess the standards of the hotel against the services they advertised and IBIS is part of Accor group which owns so many brands of hotels in the UK and around the world. It is vital and evident that Accor group is the poorest in providing resolution and management of the hotels is equally poor in resolution. It is right in the center of the old town and everything in walking distance from the hotel.
👍 Good Qualities:
• Centre location
• Customer service
• Walking distance from train and coach station
👎 Poor Qualities:
• Sleeping in the room is like sleeping next to the construction site as there is so much noise from the next building non-stop.
• No internet on the floor at all and it was so bad that sleep won’t be possible
• Carpets in the room required detailed cleaning and so much dust everywhere
• Left shocked because the hotel lift was so dirty and dried mud
• No telephone in the room which means everything individual has to come to the reception.
• Noise outside the bedroom a lot as well.
