I'm using v96 but my Descript app doesn't have the new rooms feature. Is this feature still rolling out or do I need to put in a support ticket?

This is great. However, how do you schedule the podcast? Usually, when I host a podcast, I don't send the link at the moment; I schedule it and send the link in advance. I'm excited about that feature. That is when I'll start using it.

This is great! BUT really need automatic multi-cam to be exportable with the timeline to be usable for us. (we're exporting to Premiere). Love that we wouldnt have to import from Riverside anymore to use Desfript tools, but still really need that automatic multicam in the timeline export somehow since we finish the videos in premiere 🤞

Very little actual info here. Can you restrict podcast subjects from locally recording? Is each video and audio stream recorded and saved separately? Is there a way to not have a persistent link and have a unique link for each room session? Is there a way to automate the link being sent out when a podcast is scheduled?

Descript acquired Squadcast a while back. Everyone just wants to know if they've now integrated and 'white-labeled' Squadcast as Descript Rooms.

@@brucemartin6542 @ChristopherCampNYC Hey y'all, great questions here. So Rooms is of course building on the work and vision of SquadCast, but it will be a reimagined and upgraded feature. Reliability is a top priority for Rooms, and we've built it with the lessons learned from the development of SquadCast. Rooms is being built on a new engine that can dynamically adjust call fidelity independent from the recording quality, which improves the reliability of dynamic uploads. In other words, Rooms can prioritize the quality and reliability of your final recording much better than SquadCast could. Rooms will also provide better protection against data loss with easier file recovery options than SquadCast, including by holding guest files for up to 7 days in the event that they close out prematurely.
