Rooster comb is primarily made of hyaluronic acid. There are veggies that also has it like the Japanese sweet potato and can be synthesized as well. It's a humectant that attracts water and helps lube the joints so that it cushions the joint temporarily. It's also the ingredient used in cosmetic fillers to help fill out volume loss in the face.

As a 33 year old who cannot work due to my multiple disabilities, I can completely understand Paw Paw's excitement about a new medical treatment that could improve his pain and quality of life. TO LESTER & JAMI, I know exactly what you need so you can sleep in your own bed again. In Australia we have a store called "Clark Rubber" they sell any kinds of foam and rubber for anything... they sell mattresses to gym flooring to swimming pools. I suffer from lymphedema which is to do with my lymph nodes not working so fluid builds up in my legs and feet. Clark Eubber can cut any foam or rubber to order but they already supplied hospital grade wedges that can be placed under a sheet which raised my legs (25cm/10") above the mattress. Before I knew about the retail store near me in Australia, I did find the wedges on eBay and amazon. First I would check how high you want the bed wedge to be. Just lay on the sofa and get Jami to measure the how high your leg needs to be. Then go from there. Unlike having pillows that slip out while you sleep this won't. and I only have the size of a single bed because the queen/king was quite expensive. Also it means that Jami can still sleep next to you without it interfering her sleep. I only knew about these because I used them on patients when I was a nurse, ***Maybe Jami may already know of a manufacturer company that produces the wedges, prosthetics etc for hospitals, so you may be able to get one from Jami's connections!!! I would get one fir you but you really need to get it custom made for you, especially for the height your leg needs to be raised.. Plus the shipping cost of me sending a massive foam wedge from Melbourne, Australia to Plum Grove, Texas would be an insane price (probably a weeks worth of my pension gone), just on shipping. I REALLY hope that you see this post because my wedge has been a life saver and not just helped my legs but also my back pain caused from many years of nursing plus Fibromyalgia Syndrome and breaking my back in 2019. I also have spent many months sleeping on my couch and I'm so happy and sleeping a bit better now compared to prior of purchasing the erg. Take care Morrow Family. Every night I check all of your channels so I can watch your videos before I go to sleep. Sending my love to you all, Janelle (Melourne, Australia)

I had a knee replacement at 59. Have never regretted it. I’ve never had an issue. I had a couple weeks of therapy and I was walking fine. I have no side effects from anything like that stairs are no issue. I tried injections which lubricates the joint. I did that for a couple years but they’ll only do three injections and if it didn’t work, it’s knee replacement surgery. ❤🥰 happy your dad is making it public. Why suffer when there is something that can be done. I was lucky mine was covered by insurance. If you can afford to take it out of pocket, do it don’t hesitate.

Prayers for PawPaw that this injection works for him. BTW, never be embarrassed of your tears(emotions), Jesus wept and he exuberates compassion & strength. Blessings💜

I agree…get an MRI. My husband is as broken down as they come but he keeps on working. 2 rotator cuff, nerve relocation in elbow, 2 knee surgeries not to mention back problems with a bulging disc and one in his neck too. He got those injections in his knees and shoulders that helped for a little while but he had major damage that the shots couldn’t fix. The meniscus in his knee tore. He couldn’t walk with that one leg. He also had to sleep in ways like Lester. He’s better now after his surgery. So, with all that being said…get an MRI Lester to see what it is so that no more damage will happen and get it fixed.

Won't the VA pay for replacement for a Veteran? This is bs if they don't. I love your dad and mom so much. This whole family I can't explain how much I enjoy and look forward to your videos every single day. I would donate to this cause in a second!!

I am having to admit that since turning 40 and then 45 wow my body is breaking down and showing all the bad way I treated it when I was younger. I love how you made Jami blush at the end 🤣🤣😳😳😳

Aww Paw Paw, I've got osteoarthritis in both my knees and I know how painful it is.. From one waddler to another I hope the injections work... Tried the Cortisone, good while it lasts 👍💖

Aw 🥰. I’m so happy for Paw Paw. I love his stories. He really made me laugh when he waddled around in one of his first videos (making the images swing from left to right) and said ‘Just pretend you’re on a cruise!’ 🛥

My mother has gotten the “rooster shots” for over 5 years. Really really helps her one knee. It is 3 shots spread out over several weeks. Good luck.. and hope it helps 🐔🐔🐔

My Mom had them too and really worked but then needed a knee replacement because it no longer worked and the pain got to be to much but the shots really worked well for a while, wish your Mother well

I had those injections in January-February,it takes a few weeks to get the full effect ,good luck❤️it’s rooster comb,it builds up in layers of cushioning, hence the 5 injections

Do you have to go back every so often, and get it re-done, or it's the 5 injections, then you're good? I'm assuming every so often, but would like to hear from someone who has tried this treatment? Is it only done in the knees?

I only got 3 injections,1 in each knee each week for 3 weeks, got them in March, will be getting another round in September/October ,they work for me,the last time I had them was 18 months before that,I have bone on bone end stage, when this doesn’t work anymore for me the next step will be knee replacement.hope this information helps, blessings for your health☺️
