Rooster! South Dakota | Pheasant Hunting Heaven

Finally got to hunt pheasant in South Dakota and it lived up to the hype! We had surprisingly warm weather, great people to hunt with with lots of birds. Day 1 we worked with a couple dogs that were fun to work with but after that it was up to us to find the pheasant. Stay tuned until the end because we got into action the whole time. Enjoy!

It’s crazy you can distinguish the birds gender so quickly when they’re flying!

On the video it looks harder than it is in person. Between the color difference and the length of the roosters tail, you can usually pick it up pretty quickly. Thanks for watching, hope you enjoyed!
