Thank you for putting these up, I don't have time to watch the entire thing so I hope you keep doing these. Thanks

This is one of those podcasts where Gavin is actually making some interesting points and the other guys just immediately shut him down. Everytime he tries to explain something to them, his eyes are just screaming "I'm not dumb, I'm misunderstood!" :(

It's like getting some of the best coffee beans in the world, but you have to put it through a filter covered in shit. The base material is really something, but the end product is just terriboo.

Wow, I don't even remember seeing the video for this (though I did listen to the audio once) This was a classic; Gavin's theory about the Speed of Push, once of the most legendary conversations they've ever had.

This is still the best podcast ive ever watched.

Gavin is really smart when it comes to science! His mouth just doesn't know how to make other people understand!

gavin: what is the speed of gravity? why did no-one say "the speed of pull"

It frustrates me watching everyone tell Gavin he's stupid, he's right most of the time he just has no understanding of how to explain what he's saying.

+ProfessorButts what annoys me is every time Gavin says something like this, jack agrees with him straight away but get cuts off and once he realizes the others think hes stupid, he agrees with them.

Because I just started making these. I'm hoping to catch before the end of the year, and maybe release 2 old ones, and a new one every week.

As far as the speed of Gravity, it's instantaneous. Gravity is a universal force, and any object with mass has it's own gravitational pull, albeit it's almost unnoticeable at long distances. Still, people knew Neptune was there before they ever saw it because it was gravitationally in tandem with Uranus. So to take Gavin's hypothetical and make it possible, basically every star's gravity is pulling on us, even the ones who's light hasn't reached us yet.

its funny cause the farther into the podcast you get the drunker they get
@ishaanv452711 жыл бұрын
Gravity travels at the speed of light, so the moment see this" imaginary planet" its gravitational force would take effect.
@Dragondude252511 жыл бұрын
Easy answer. If a massive object popped up in the sky above earth in an instant, then the earth's orbit around the sun would be thrown off and either just slightly alter or earth would be ejected from the solar system.

I'm not entirely sure why, but that guy with the beard and the ball cap up in the balcony just made this video for me. Somehow, removing him would make the video less enjoyable.
