Joel: But does it taste good? Burnie: No. It's bad the whole way through. Joel: What if it tasted like chocolate? Burnie: .....but it doesn't. I could just imagine "now" Gavin saying, "But what if it NEEDED to."

11:54 Wow I get that maybe Joel was just talking to fill time, and wasn't really thinking about what he was saying, but he conflated homosexuality with bestiality. That is fucked up what an asshole, and everyone else wasn't any better, their reaction basically boiled down to poor panicked damage control that in the end only really said, "We weren't talking about gay people Joel." Not, "Homosexuality and bestiality are two completely different things. You can't just assume that because someone is having sex with an animal that they are gay. They're two completely unrelated things." Then maybe Joel could have defended himself further by explaining that maybe that's not what he meant, but either way this was way below the standard Rooster Teeth had come to set for themselves as understanding cool individuals. Obviously Joel especially.

There has been some worse things. Like Mr. Gavin racist Free. But that is where you stop watching, move on, and forget about it. No reason to spend time on something as small as that.

Actually pretty much the first thing said back to Joel was "What the hell is wrong with you". So... there's that. Joel says weird, dumb stuff that probably only marginally made sense inside his head, let alone before he vocalises it. I think you're making a mountain out of a molehill.

Django Cribbs Yeah you're right, this was a year ago though, don't really feel as passionate about it anymore. I had forgotten about this, anyway yeah I can see I overreacted.
