But, I just said to myself that I needed to focus on the game and it went away. XD It happened to me yesterday.

This sounds like a mini stroke or a TIA. These often lead to big strokes and are usually the first warning sign. If you have had one of these symptoms i would call the doctor right away.

+Robert Walsh well it's also a part of a migraine side-effect called an Aura, which also includes seeing sort of, bright almost strobe-ish lights in your vision, or blurs. The aura effect can cause dizziness, confusion, and difficulty with reading/memory. I used to get migraines and I've had the same issue, where you can't process what you're trying to read. However, it is still something you want to look into because either way it is very debilitating.

For some reason, the word "jums" is so funny to me. Every time I watch this, I crack up when Gavin says it. Maybe it's his tone of voice when he says it, but whatever it was combined with the word "jums" just sets me off every time.

I actually had a similar thing happen to me when I had my first migraine a week or so ago. I was at the computer reading a document and the vision in my left eye started swimming, like when you stare above a camp fire and things get blurry. It was just in my left eye though and only in the corner of my vision so i didn't think much of it until 20 minutes later when it hadn't gone away. I got some water thinking I was just dehyrdated. When I came back down to my room I tried to pick up where I left off on the document and it felt like I had a blindspot in the center of my vision from both eyes; I could see what was there, but I couldn't remember what I had just seen. I decided to just watch a video or two and then the pain started. It was all concentrated above my right eye, but it was enough to force me to just crawl into bed and sleep for the next hour and a half till it went away.

I mean, when I'm extremly tired, probably cause I need to sleep more, I'll be reading a book and suddenly Im just staring at the page for what like 20 minutes? And i'll try to focuse on what im reading, but i just cant figure out what the words spell into.... basically I forget how to read/write when Im tired.

+Mochi Warrior I get constant headaches in school from stress of just being there, and a few times the headaches got so bad, I couldn't keep my balance and when I tried to read I couldn't understand what word it was supposed to say. I continued writing what I was doing but I didn't know how to spell "tree" and instead said "tri" and I forgot when to use the word "the" so I wrote an entire paper without the word "the". This continued for a few days.

The Occipital Lobe is the visual processing area of the brain an is located in the back of the head in the lower hemisphere. from Wikipedia.

Gavin's loss of speech/ability to write, etc. could have been a stroke, or it could have also been aphasia (which can be caused by a stroke but can also occur from brain damage on its own). The blindness was definitely due to brain trauma of the occipital lobe (responsible for vision) after falling back on it.

I had a similar thing today during a test... :( I couldn't read, I couldn't understand the words and I lost half of my vision and had a headache... So I remembered this video... And I can feel with you, Gavin. I quit the test and went to a doctor. I had a Migraine with an Aura... :( Glad I am allowed to do the test again :)

I had both the everything going blurry and then just not remembering how to read thing happen to me one day and that day I had a seizure. Diagnosed epileptic now

I hope Gavin eventually went to the doctor to get all this sorted out. I've been having problems with passing out. Over the last eight months I have fainted about five times for no reason whatsoever. I went to the neurologist, a cardiologist, and I even had a MRI scan done, but nothing was ever found. I'm thankful for that. Maybe I just have low blood sugar or something. Maybe Gavin just had a once-in-a-lifetime stroke? Sometimes your just healthy and experience weird things. I hope everything is going well nowadays, Gavin
