Jeremy's warplane joke is why I find him funny, he is a legit super funny dude, I'll never understand the hate he gets.

Because half of the time his wittiness is replaced with an extremely annoying laugh and acting more like a follower of the AH bandwagon. There are certain times where he doesn't fit in, and seems more like a super fan trying to bounce material off of the main guys. It's also getting pretty old to watch any AH video that involves some sort of competition because Jeremy just wins all of them. It's very reminiscent of the old school Ray, who literally won everything. I didn't really start to legitimately like Ray until late 2013 where he became less competitive and focused more on witty humor. Jeremy is the complete opposite of that. Winning is extremely important to him, and it in in these instances that his obsessive behavior and annoying laughter become truly apparent. It's really only in situations like this video where his true cleverness is shown. In the majority of AH videos, he is just the guy that never stops talking, and it seriously gets old after awhile.

Oh completely. Likewise, I totally respect your opinion as well. In actuality, I believe I am in the minority on this one- I believe the majority of the fan base has actually welcomed Jeremy with open arms. I wish I was able to do the same, but there are just certain things I can't get past. Though to be honest, I feel like much of my dissatisfaction with Jeremy has less to do with him as a person, and more so with the overall direction AH is heading in (Jeremy is just a prime example of this, and is a way of projecting disappointment with the company as a whole). I think everyone can agree that AH's glory days are behind them, and the quality of their content peaked around mid-2015 after Ray left. As opposed to getting great content on a daily basis, we only get a few rare gems every now and then. This is largely due to the fact that AH is moving away from their roots, and trying to expand on a massive level. Now this alone is not necessarily bad. However, with taking on so many new projects such as Theater Mode or Let's Play Live, there is less time to focus on producing the stellar content that we got in the past. But to expand more on this, I think their biggest misstep is the Let's Play Family BS. The idea of a collaboration between many large channels is not necessarily a bad thing. However, once it gets to the point that it starts infringing upon your core content, that is when it goes too far. The prime example here are the GTA V lets plays that don't even feature one member of AH in them. If we wanted to watch a video with only members of Screw Attack or KindaFunny, we would have subscribed to their channels. But we subscribed to the Let's Play channel that originally featured purely AH content, and so that is what we expect/want to see. Geoff saying that this kind of collaboration was always what the Let's Play channel was supposed to be is completely false, and only serves as a means of trying to convince the fans of how wrong they are. Now, let me emphasize that, from a business perspective, this is a completely logical direction for AH. Since everything is so meticulously produced nowadays, the good old days of six friends playing games together just feels completely absent. I actually have to give Ray a huge amount of credit for leaving when he did. He saw the direction AH was heading in, and decided to abandon the ship before it sank. I would give anything to have Ray come back (yes, even replacing Jeremy with him) in the hopes that it would restore AH to their glory days. However, I know that is not the case, and so I wish him the best of luck in doing something that he loves.
