Omigosh, yes! I struggle so much with finding the difference between cockiness and confidence in myself. I think that since my family has a sort of issue with pride, whenever I'm happy about a personal success I beat myself up over it and try to tell myself that it's not such a big deal. And the same thing with taking compliments from other people. The sad thing is that I think words of affirmation is my love language, but since I always shove compliments away, it makes it really hard for others to love me. I really liked this episode of Always Open! I'm a huge fan of philosophical conversations and I really like it when they bring more of that to the show.
