I adore the gender fluidity talk. It’s something I struggled my whole life as a male. Sometimes I was made to feel “girly” or “not manly enough” by whomever. I didn’t even want to wear anything pink, thinking it was too girly. Finally, as I grew up, went to college, met all sorts of people, and watched the social movement for more recognition of different identities grow…it made me realize I might be okay identifying as gender fluid. I even play as female characters in every single video game where I have the choice. There’s the very easy, juvenile write-off we can have here: “hehe, I like girl butts.” I *do,* 😂 but I had to learn about myself and realize that I was allowing myself to connect with another version of myself. Gaming can often be my outlet to explore a feminine side. No one is strictly 100% just-male or just-female. There’s a spectrum where we can be much closer to one side or the other, in the middle, fluctuating, etc. I fluctuate, and I struggle to tell family or some friends. I find it hard to ask, “eh, just call me they/them.” It’s very liberating to hear a conversation on this topic be a positive one.

I've had a year long quest to get my apartment to fix my dryer, I've had the same issue, took forever to dry. Day one I mentioned the dryer vent but a new washer dryer combo and a year later they finally listened to me. The vent was clogged!

Great show all around, from everyone. Picked up The Last Of Us game after it was already Game of the Year Edition and then dove into it hard. I really enjoyed watching the Making Of stuff here in KZbin and any other content. Troy seems like such a lovely, thoughtful man and it was such a wonderful conversation with everyone else. Was nervous about it being turned into a show, but you can tell the people who make it really care about the source material of the game, but also the emotional source material.

I know many people who look like greek gods who have terrible mental health but hide it and I think its important to have that conversation to help people become their strongest selves. I love hearing everyone here talk about entertainment and related social discussions. I’m new to the everyone except Troy but it was an instant subscribe. Also Troy, is correct about event viewing being back. I prefer it too as it allows for better conversations throughout the week. With binge watching, no one is at the same pace so discussion is lost. Shows like Heroes or Lost would have less of an impact if they had seasons dropped all at once.
