If the internet of this world works via four antenna, then it's not surprising that one antenna going down means the end of internet. Well, we burn fuel to get to space, they use dust. Apparently, dust only works on the planet and not elsewhere. Getting into a theory I just came up with, what if dust comes from the god of darkness when he wiped out everyone, before the gods left Remnant? Maybe his magic crystallized?

Electricity? Okay, think logical. What method of propulsion do you have, that work on the electricity and why it's never used in the real world. Even nuclear powered ships are non science bullshit at the moment. Because you literally have no means to use that power, doesn't matter how big it is. So unless people in Remnant or IRL invent something like magnetic anti-grav system, that lets you to move at speed to leave atmosphere - it's not an option. Speaking of RWBY - maybe, just maybe, the Atlas relic has a power to work in space, cause it's a magical, of sorts, device.

Vince Galila No, they specifically couldn't use any Relics for it. Only the Staff can make stuff fly, and the Staff can't be in two places at once. They'd have to completely overhaul Atlas to not need the staff anymore, which is a much less lore screwy plan with the exact same result.

The faunus have their own continent but aren't included in the land that the CCTS benefits. If mankind is going to be united again in remnant, I think that's going to end up being a big part of the discussions for how to do so, especially for Blake if team rwby gets caught up in the thick of it.

It should be possible to achieve orbit anyway, even if dust loses it's power when leaving the atmosphere, you just would have to achieve orbital velocity inside the atmosphere...which would become just slightly hot, but a few tons of ice dust should do the trick xD And to achieve a stable orbit would be difficult, because if they only use dust, they can't make any alterations to the orbit. But didn't Yang tank gasoline into bumblebee? Then we would have a propellant, and I'm pretty sure, that they know of different gases, so they could propably build cold gas thrusters. So in conclusion: Probably tons of dust would be needed, but I'm fairly sure it would be possible with their tech.

So it basically a same tower but now it output in higher power so it can reach longer range . Don't know what frequency and bands they're using but using high frequency is long range is inefficient as they can't travel very far unless you have a very high power antenna build up for that. The CCT is an interesting and great idea in Remnant. The problem is why do they need 4 towers to work as that is the most idiotic thing that is ever done. They could have made it that 2 towers to work instead they went with this and the results speak for themselves.

Because three reasons 1: The Darker part of Anima is purple, and The Land of Darkness is full of Gravity Dust and the waste land is purple 2: When Tyrian was injured, don't tell me he walk from Anima to the Dragon Continent, unless he used a vehicle 3: Watts. Current fan guestimations about where Dust loses power is above the stratosphere... which means even if you get up that high, you'll start to suffocate due to the lack of oxygen LONG before then (Zeppelins that got fairly high up started to have oxygen deprivation related problems later in the war as they kept climbing higher).

I'm pretty sure that the way Atlas is made is meant to keep oxygen supplies for some time (though I may be misremembering the way he explained it, I'll have to watch the episode again.) But even if they do reach that point, Salem could potentially create some Grimm to get that high and if she does then all the Dust-powered weapons will be useless, Semblances will eventually be depowered by Aura depletion. Atlas low-key fucked.

Dust itself fails, however the Staff of creation, which is the cornerstone of the Amity project doesnt directly acts with dust~~however any dust powerd machinery woudl just be hunks of metal,~~ as well as it would only fail at a high enough altitude, iirc Ironwoods plan was to put the Arena just outside of the reach of any grimm but still below the Point where dust was completly useless
