You have convinced me to keep it simple. Test my soil, adjust accordingly and water when needed. Good video.

Great video good sir. I will not be a negative Nellie this time. Always love your videos and watch most of them because I live close to you and Mr Denny and I like to compare your guys lawns to my own seeing how we share the same climate. Thanks to you guys I don’t go by a guide. I just simply watch what’s going on with what is happening to your guys lawns so I can better prepare my lawn. I’m terrible at remembering when to apply fungicides so watching you is kinda like my reminder to do that. I’m happy that you’re happy with supporting other small businesses and give your devotion to them. Nothing wrong with doing what makes you happy. Have a good day and keep em coming.

🤣 it’s all good brother. Differences are good or else we have nothing to discuss! I appreciate you seeing my side of it, as I get yours. Everyone is trying to save where they can now, and I get that too.

Fun experiment for sure. I've used all of these products (except for Sea-K) which produced great results.

Really cool video and makes me wonder how truly important it is to fertilize. That water-only did amazing. I always hear water and mowing are two of the most important tasks in lawn care. I think this showcased it.

@MrFerguson, think we would all have liked it more if you used TTTF, like the one you grew in your wife's pot. & like what else another said, when these are applied, it's by spray, so way you could do it is what an inch of water would be for each plot & add that amount of water + % of nutrient.

I feel like Dipping the plugs into the 1 gallon is still way more concentrated than if you were going to spray it on to your lawn.

This is a good example of why using a cocktail of products is a great way to gain multiple benefits. There is not miracle product, however multiple products can provide different benefits

IMO water and properly applied fert, then call it a day and enjoy great looking turf for less $$. Fungicides as needed if you have a fungus issue or want to prevent it. Thanks for the video and God Bless!

St Aug gives off seed pods during spring / summer periods, however the seeds are sterile,. St Aug is propagated by sod only - no seeds.

I didn’t expect plain water tou outperform that well, very informative. RGS 3oz/gallon is supposed to be spread over 1k square feet. If you dunked the plugs thoroughly, is it possible that you effectively over-applied?
@MrFergusonLawn4 ай бұрын
@@phileisermann1257 probably. It’s 1 gallon with 3 oz added. I simply dunked and that’s it. So it’s as close as I could get to real life.

An experiment I'd really like to see is the results from using a typical "cocktail" (i.e. I spoon feed once a week a low dose of RGS, Spoon Juice, Sea K, Humic, Air 8, and liquid iron) vs just water only. I think most of these products are made to be used in a similar cocktail, so seeing the results from something like that would be interesting.

What are your plans for the plugs now? Would love to see all of them combined like you said at the end

It would be interesting to see RGS and SeaK pitted against Ecologel's Cytogro, since that product is concentrated Cytokinins from the Sea Kelp.
